Henry Allen Nursery School

Henry Allen Nursery is a gem of a place. The teachers inspire learning through play, promote independence, teach social skills and encourage children of all abilities within a positively stimulating and safe environment.
With a wide range of activities on offer no two days are the same at Henry Allen. Both my children have always had lots to talk about after their days here, brining home the most glorious art work and pockets/shoes full of sand!
Every single person who works with the children at Henry Allen is kind, patient, attentive and most of all - lots of fun! With the biggest smiles to greet the children daily.
The support to parents is second to none, with regular updates on the happenings within the nursery from the administration team, to the wonderful updates on the secure site. The staff will also have time to talk to you should you need a chat, or even just a pick up on the door - we've never felt rushed to leave.
I feel privileged that my children have attended this nursery, setting them up perfectly for their transition into more formal education. I'd recommend Henry Allen Nursery School to anyone looking for a nursery for children of all abilities.

Both of my children attended Henry Allen Nursery School and absolutely loved their time there. My son attended the main nursery (from age 3) and my daughter attended the Warren (for 2yr olds) and then the main nursery (from age 3).

The facilities are second to none; there is a wonderful garden with all-weather surfaces, and fabulous play equipment. The staff are just lovely. They are so approachable, caring and nurturing but also provide an excellent early years education as the setting is teacher-led. I could not recommend Henry Allen more. It really is a special place.

Henry Allen Nursery School is amazing place! The people who work here are fantastic, and always have time to say hi and smile to my daughter and to the other children who go there. Definitely made the right choice by choosing this place!

Fantastic nursery!
Both my boys attended it from age 3 and absolutely love it:-)) extremely friendly and experienced teachers who were like a family to my boys:-) We couldn’t believe how fast the kids had been developing, learning and making friendships which even last until now :-) Never seen them upset or unhappy there. I recommend Henry Allen 100% ! Great nursery:-))

I cannot recommend this incredible nursery enough. They went above and beyond for my little girl and she made so much progress under their care. As a teacher myself, I was really impressed by the indoor/outdoor learning environments and the fantastic play focused planning. I wish my little girl didn’t have to leave. The teachers and staff will be throughly missed!

My daughter has spent 2 extremely happy years at Henry Allen. Through a balance of play and learning they have helped prepare her for school and I couldn’t be happier with the care she has received. I am looking forward to when my youngest can start at the nursery.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. Both of my children have attended and both have loved going. The staff are just amazing. Supportive and encouraging, they offer lots of activities such as forest school, playball, trips to the park and library. We have loved being here and sad to be leaving.
