Noted this nursery had an issue where a toddler escaped and was found nearby. The young man finding him returned the toddler unharmed yet the nursery didn’t even know he has gone.
Critical safe guarding issue

I think the returned comment here sums up the lack of care. Found on the premises yes ? But not under the care of your staff ? An external body found him - which raises questions on security- once returned your staff didn’t even know the child was missing !

Abhorrent attitude by yourselves -

Jumping jacks is fantastic - if there was a model for a nursery - this should be it - the staff really care - they’re good fun and always flexible- I’ve never had anything but the greatest admiration for the team and total trust in the way they look after our son. He loves it there - always something going on and he’s always learning something or doing something interesting. He loves after school club and that really helped with his transition to school as he’d already seen ‘school kids’ in uniform and already knew someone at the school he was going to attend. Jackie works incredibly hard on every aspect at the nursery and nothing is ever too much trouble. she truly enjoys what she does and leads a fantastic team by example!

The staff At Jumping jacks have been amazing at helping my son settle into his new surroundings.
This is my Second child that has been here, and they have been amazing with them both.
His key person has been a vital part of my son’s care and he adores her.
He sometimes doesn't want to leave, and enjoys playing outside in the garden.
The staff work very well and supports both my son and us, as parents, we get regular updates with pictures on an app that tells us what he's been up to, and how he's developing.
I can’t thank my sons key person and the staff enough for the amazing work they do.

İt's a very clean and warm, loving environment. The amount of activities they do on rotation is a lot. İ think the two mean reviews are just two people feeling mean and hateful and taking it out on a lovely group of women who put all their heart into making it a lovely environment for the children. Kids will get sick, that's just life.
My daughter has been going there for over a year now and she always comes out so happy and full of life. She's always excited to go there. She tells me positive stories about her day there and has made some beautiful friendships, which have been encouraged by the staff. Her speaking accelerated within months of being there and she is very far ahead of other children İ know with her confidence, socialising and communicating with me. The staff are really outgoing and sociable and I think this rubs off on the children. They get to know each child as an individual and are helpful with chatting and encouraging about any problems you may be having at home with your child. İ actually find them better informed and experienced about children's development than the local health visitors. They're all experienced parents too, so they actually understand children from a first hand perspective, rather than out of a textbook!
All the other children and parents there are lovely too and we even got invited to an amazing end of term water pistol party for the whole nursery by one of the parents. My daughter gets to discover a lot of new toys and creative activities all the time and at 16 months old she had learned all the actions to 'wind the bobbin up' and 'tiny turtle', with no input from myself! İ can only thank the lovely atmosphere from the staff at singing and story time for that!

I have given 4 stars as our son has only attended for three months so will upgrade to five stars if consistent at a later point in time. However I felt compelled to write a review now as there has been a distinctive change in our son since starting at Jumping Jacks. Our son's speech was not as advanced as others his age when he started at Jumping Jacks however the staff have been working hard with him and encouraging his words and pronunciations. He now speaks with confidence equivalent to his peers. He has come out of his shell a lot and his personality is shining through, his gross and fine motor skills have also improved as he is having less accidents than when he was in his previous setting. The lovely staff at JJ's also upload weekly updates onto an app including photos, noting the areas of development they have been working on that week by learning through play and also what they will be working on the following week, parents have a chance to comment. As soon as the door opens in the morning he runs in and he is always happy when he is picked up, we speak about his day in the car and he always smiles and speaks joyously of his day. He is also assigned a keyworker who he spends one-to-one time with but its clear that the staff are a team and work together to support all the children as a unit. Jackie is always available to speak to if we have any concerns and has given us plenty of advice when required.

Wow some people are very sad to leave such lies! Both of my children went here and the staff are nothing but loving ,caring and understanding of the childrens needs. They even take time to help parents were needed. They have a 5 star in food hygiene which is displayed as you walk into the setting. If it was so dirty and unclean which it is not! then why are they one of the only places in folkestone to not have any covid cases ever... so please dont listen to these utter lies below and go up for yourself and see what a lovely nursary this is.

I'm an old child that used to go there after school and I hated it you are left to play with nursery toys as a 5 to 11 year old you can only eat toast and you rarely get to go outside it's unsanitary and I've got food poisoning from eating some of the spreads on the toast. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Horrible place dirt and grime everywhere my child has picked up a lot of sick bugs from that place we tried it for a couple of weeks. The staff are unruly and abusive we child is 8 and they had nothing for him to play with and he just wanted to go home find somewhere else.
