First Steps to Learning Pre-school & Day Nursery Ltd

I am very happy with this nursery. The staff are very welcoming. They offer a friendly and caring approach; and are attentive to my child's needs, who is making fantastic progress, thanks to the daily activities which help to develop his learning. I also like the idea of my child having a hot meal for lunch, which he says are 'really nice'. Keep up the fantastic work!

Ive worked here near enough from when the nursery opened and Ive loved every moment here. The management and professionalism are always of high standards. The staff here are warm and welcoming, an amazing environment to work in.

What an amazing place. My baby princess is attending the nursery for past couple of years and she loves it. She is cared for and loved and I think thats the most important thing of all. She would go to nursery even in weekends if that would be possible and that says it all. Would highly recommend to every parent. One of the best decision we made for our baby she learns so much there.

My daughter has been attending First Steps since they very first opened 2 years ago and I cannot praise them enough. She has come on leaps and bounds and is very well looked after and cared for by the team. My daughter cannot wait to go to nursery every day and always comes home so happy. I would recommend this nursery to everyone. An amazing, friendly and professional team that do everything to make sure your child is reaching their key development stages and has fun whilst doing it. I’ll be sad to leave when my daughter starts primary school this September

First Step to learning is a fantastic nursery. Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming . The management is awesome. My Son absolutely loves everything about the nursery and he is always excited to go in, learning and exploring something new every time he is at nursery. First steps to learning offer great focused activities that are designed to help children thrive.

A beautiful nursery ran by a caring and nurturing staff. My children have loves their time here, learning so many social and educational skills. Initially I was apprehensive about sending them to nursery but after a few days they were running through the door to see the staff and other children.
Being a teacher myself it's great to see how their counting, alphabet, role-play, life skills and communication has excelled.
They also loved their day out to Barleylands. As a parent I had no concerns about the welfare of my children heading off as I knew they were in very capable hands.
The staff are so welcoming in their approach. It is clear that they have a genuine love for a the children. They are also always on hand to offer support and advice on anything from flexibility of days/times to potty training. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I am really impressed by the professionalism and welcomming, caring attitude of the staff at  First Steps to learning. As first time parents, they made our and our little  girls settling period so smooth and easy. It is so reassuring to see how our daughter developed new skills  and how she is enjoying socialising. I also like that the nursery offers healthy food and hot meals each day. I could not recomend enough First Steps to Learning nursery!

FSTL for my family and I has been a lifesaver. From the time we moved into the Upminster area, the management have been so accommodating, and they always have time to help out. We have never felt like part of a big chain with FSTL and that is what I like about it so much. Decisions can be made quickly and in response to the actual situation rather than instructions from central team which is the problem I have found with most nursery.

I have had 2 kids here and they absolutley loved it. I have never had concerns about their wellbeing.

As a mother who has been through a few daycares, a few things I love about this place are :

1. It is a decent size, your child will not get lost in the numbers

2. They update us with digital photos and also have a keepsake book. I don't have to spend time at the end of the day asking about what my child ate or what was in the nappy. Its all on the app.

3. Affordability - I will leave this here, daycare prices are through the roof, this is a really worth the money

4. A variety of activies for all ages

5. Great out door space

6. They actually have aircon for the really hot months

7. The biggest on for me is - I always have a smiling baby at the start and the end of the day.

Honestly, could not recommend this nursery enough in the Upminster/Hornchurch/Cranham area.
