Birchwood Nursery School

horrible place, they treat parents as rubbish, senco is providing false information, senco said that my child will not get the EHCP and we got it.I do not recommend it to anyone, keep away you children from this place.

My son has attended this lovely nursery for 2 years . They have all been absolutely amazing with him and been extremely supportive in his journey and helping him flourish and grow .
Every staff member truly is outstanding in the care they provide and thought and detail they put into the childrens day and education is amazing.
My son has had the opportunity to see owls come into the nursery , see chicks hatch and grow at Easter and see and learn about caterpillar turning into butterflies.
This is just a small insight into the wonderful approach and detail this nursery gives to children .
The staff are all passionate about there role and the level of care that is given and the ratio off staff to children is fantastic .
The outdoor area is a wonderful big space with lots too do and climb and learn and I do not know another nursery even a school that provides such space and equipment and toys for children.
This nursery is unique and a jem and you will be very happy with making this nursery choice for your child .

Wonderful place for our little girl to start her school life. The teachers are brilliant and even through the pandemic they have been very supportive of the home learning. The head is approachable and helps with any concerns we have. Our little one loves the set up and comes out of nursery every day with a beaming smile, showing off her drawings and telling me all about what she's been doing. Wouldn't have her anywhere else.

Birchwood nursery is a very special place. Our daughter is so happy to attend and would go seven days a week if she could. She has thrived in so many ways since starting. The staff are all very supportive and amazing at what they do, they provide an excellent early years learning experience. Any concerns,questions or worries we've had, have all been answered promptly and with our daughters best interest at heart. The different activities, equipment and outdoor space that are available to the children is impressive, one of the many reasons we chose Birchwood. The outstanding ofsted rating really shines through in everything at Birchwood and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. We will be so sad when it’s time for our daughter to move on.

After spending time researching local pre schools/nurseries, I found Birchwood on paper by far the best - an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted report was very appealing, however it wasn’t until we visited the school we released how fantastic it really was. A real sense of warmth and love radiates from the teachers and support staff. Our children are really happy, looking forward to going everyday.

I cannot fault this nursery whatsoever they are absolutely brilliant and always communicating with me to discuss my little boys challenges and progress.
The main two things that I just think this nursery incredible and the reason why I believe my little boy absolutely loves it there.
1.His teacher mrs Willis is absolutely amazing and I believe he wouldn’t be as happy without her ,first day she gave the time and instant connection which is very hard for my little boy to have with anyone! He absolutely adores her, he feels safe with her and she is teaching him so much there bond is truly lovely to watch! Every teacher/assistant is great there but mrs Willis just has that special bond with him that no one else does.
2. The senco teacher there is incredible! I would recommend this nursery is there are any difficulties your child may be facing because they are literally incredible! I am currently having difficulties with my little boy and they are there with all the support, they literally do everything for you so if they do need a ECHP she is literally on it and to know that she does her best and she wants it as much as us parents just shows what sort of nursery it is.
As I said I cannot fault this nursery and I would keep him there forever if I could definitely recommend! 😂xx

Lovely pre-school and my son has learnt alot. Am more very disappointed at being assured my daughter also had a place at the pre-school then to being told that she hasn't. Not very professional at all. Being told one thing by staff then something completely different so I had to run round looking for another pre-school place at the last minute. Definitely wouldn't recommend this pre-school after this
