Chunky Monkeys Day Nursery

I am writing this review as I am so disappointed as Chunky Monkey just presented so unprofessional behaviour which made me scared to leave my baby there for another day.
Here is the story, my little girl is only 22 months now and was constantly coming home so hungry basically begging for food. Nursery staff when asked always told us that she have eaten everything which just simply could not be true. Me and my girlfriend decided that we have to find different nursery, we have given month notice as stated in the contract, and Today 3 weeks after the notice the main manager has told us that the rota has been done for following week and there is no room for our little girl after tomorrow. We have arranged different nursery in June as this was the agreement in the first place but they don't care. In their words the lady said "You didn't gave us leaving notice in writing" which clearly means they can do whatever they want since we can't prove it. They have not requested written notice and I didn't think to produce one. I am devastated because the level of support they are provided it is just unbelievable poor. They has allowed my little girl to come in tomorrow as last day, despite they have agree for another week when took verbal notice, but at the moment I am too afraid to let her stay there when staff acting so unprofessional.
Please take my warning and make sure you got everything sorted with this nursery written on paper and signed. Think twice before leaving your precious kids in there, I love my little girl and I have chosen the most expensive nursery in area to give her the best which I can provide as father should do, but price is clearly not equal to quality which you should expect.

My daughter started at Chunky Monkeys two months ago. The staff there made the experience very easy in what I expected to be a very daunting one! All the staff have been very welcoming and I am more than impressed with the knowledge and experience of the staff and the wonderful facilities provided. The activities and experiences provided are always age and stage appropriate and my daughter has made so much progress in the little time shes been attending. Being in the childcare profession myself theres nothing better than knowing my daughter is in safe hands and being looked after extremely well! Thank you to everyone at Chunky Monkeys and I definitely recommend them as an overall 5* childcare provision!

Staff lovely here and always helpful. I just wish you'd fix that pothole when turning into the road leading up to the nursery. As if the road is not bad enough in the industrial estate..
