Embarrassed for Debra the owners unprofessional behaviour. I paid for my daughter to go full days 8am-6pm, a few months in i dropped her in at 11am on one occasion, just before this the nursery messaged me on the app around 10.30am to see if she would be in and I advised I was heading down to drop her off. I get a call from Debra about half hour after my daughter has been there telling me my daughter will miss lunch because she’s late (she arrived at 11 and lunch isn’t until 12/12:30 and I’ve paid for this). I asked how this could happen as it’s a service I paid for which Debra’s reply was ‘she won’t be having anything to eat until 3pm at snack time’. I asked if there was fruit/ snacks anything to tie her over and regardless if she was late or not they were told she would be there and I had paid for her meal. Debra was extremely rude and put the phone down on me. I decided to go pick my daughter up as I was uncomfortable with the owners attitude and way she handled the issue, once I arrived at pitter patter I asked Debra directly what happened etc and explained I’ve paid for this and your telling me my child is going without food with no explanation what so ever. Debra slammed the door in my face (in front of other parents) then brought my child out and slammed the door behind my daughter. My child literally said to me ‘mummy why is that lady being nasty to me?… Debra your terrible behaviour as an ‘owner’ was very noticeable you really upset my daughter let alone me! You should be completely and utterly ashamed of the way you handle yourself. It’s appalling.

I did also file a complaint with the care inspectorate wales regarding this

My little boy goes to pitter patter and has been going since he was 8 months, they have really lovely, caring staff who really work hard and try to accommodate every child’s needs. Debra, Jodey and the staff have always been very understanding and accommodating with my sons needs.

I always get sent lovely photos of my son in nursery doing different activities everyday. Pitter patter is very good with keeping the parents updated as they work through an app that tells you exactly what your child does/eats/drinks/sleeps through the day. It’s very reassuring that you can give them a message for updates and they get back to you very quick!

There are staff there that really go above and beyond and they deserve a medal for all their hard work and patience. Well done girls ❤️

My 2 older children attended and loved every minute of it, and still regularly speak about the fun times they had there. My youngest baby now attends Pitter Patter and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Staff are amazing with the children and I’m reassured while in work that they are happy and safe while receiving regular notifications from their FAMLY app including photos of what theyve been doing. Jodey & Debra go out of their way to try accommodate requests for extra days etc… and high standards of care are always maintained.

My daughter has attended Pitter Patter for the past 2 years, I cannot recommend this nursery enough. We love the app and the updates and pictures throughout the day, they were really reassuring to both me and my wife. Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and is full of stories of fun activities she does throughout the day.
Since our daughter started through the covid restrictions the management really put our minds at ease and showed us the nursery via zoom and has since allowed us to go in and have a look and it looks even better in person. My daughter talks non stop about the girls and they are always full of cuddles when we drop off and pick up.
It's such a reassuring feeling knowing our daughter is with people she loves when we have to go to work.

In our opinion this nursery is too large to meet the needs of young children and to deliver the level of care expected. Various issues over the course of 18 months led us to take our son out of their care completely.
