Dunton Green Primary School

My daughter attends Dunton Green primary school. It’s a lovely little single form entry villiage school. Please do not be fooled by Ofsted. This school is a wonderful place, with a lovely, cosy atmosphere. The teachers all know the children by name! My daughter has thrived there! She’s doing very well. The school has some very good new core values too. The new head is very good too! This school is up anc coming!

I have two children at Dunton Green Primary School, one in year 2 and one in year 4. It is a small community school and everyone knows each other which provides a safe environment for the children. My children are both happy and enjoy school.
There have been noticeable improvements in the school since the new head teacher and this is reflected by the Good ofsted rating. All of the teaching staff are engaging and my children enjoy their lessons and are eager to learn.
The school provides a wide range of opportunities both through their teaching and extra curricular clubs. Their outside space is vast and enjoyed by all. The before and after school care is brilliant and flexible.
There is certainly something to be said about a small community school where your children are known, looked after and well educated.

My daughter is currently in year 6 at Dunton Green and my son is a former pupil (now at Skinners School). My daughter loves her school, she is happy, independent and has achieved excellent academic attainment. Under the outstanding new head Teacher the team at Dunton Green are taking the School to new heights. The core values are genuinely lived by staff and students, I can’t recommend this lovely village School enough!

Both my children have been very happy at the school. The new Headteacher is fantastic and has her teaching staff motivated and fully behind her. The improvements I've seen over the past year are many and dramatic, but the main thing is that the pupils are happy and well cared for in a safe environment.

My daughter came to live with me last year in March 2018 and she was working below average...I than enrolled her in Dunton Green Primary School. Since she has been in this school, I have seen tremendous improvement in her studies...she was below average working on 70 per cent and the months she has been in this school now, she's working above expectation and is at 98 per cent and moving upwards...There's no stopping her now thanks to the quality teaching of the teachers of Dunton Dreen Primary and also many thanks to Head Teacher, Mrs Tracy Bonos in making this happen...A school worth looking into

I currently have 2 children at the school and 1 that left 4 years ago. There have been several changes over the years and I am pleased to say that since Mrs Tracey Boanas took over, the school has improved a lot. We recently had a family bereavement and have faced a few difficult challenges but Tracey has been very supportive along with all of the staff and we feel this has benefitted the children and they know that their teachers are there to listen to them whenever they need to talk.
Both of the children are doing well academically and look forward to going to school each day.
It is a lovely little village school whereby the teachers always make time for you no matter what the query!
If you’re looking for a small village school then I highly recommend this one.

I have a y6 and y3 child at this school. It has always been a caring nurturing environment, but under the new head it has made huge improvements academically. My oldest child is pushed and challenged and has been successful passing the 11 plus. My youngest has been given extra support where required. Most importantly they are both happy, cared for and love going to school. I highly recommend this village school.

Our daughter is in yr2 at Dunton Green and we couldn't be happier with the school. The new headteacher has made huge improvements. Academic expectations are high; communication with parents is efficient; the children are nurtured with their individual needs met and the non-core subjects are given adequate attention too.
