Very disappointed in the way the head teacher and admin staff deal with situations and parents. Any school that hosts a school play without enough seats for every parent to buy a ticket is not fit to be running. Especially when the school easily has the time and facilities to either have the play in a bigger hall or have two or three showings of the whole play. The ramifications of a child not seeing their parents at their play could do permanent damage to how a child remembers their childhood! Please think twice before sending your child to this school and make note that the ofsted report was done last in 2009 when the school had a different head teacher.

Can't imagine what the comments here complaining about alarms going off in the middle of the night have to do with the performance of the school. Our daughter attends this fabulous and forward looking school in leafy Wimbledon and we are delighted.

This is the ONLY school to send your child to & I have dealt with MANY Wandsworth schools. Albemarle stand out as supportive & inclusive and are staffed by some of the best teachers; most of them permenantly, which is more than can be said for a LOT of local schools.
I dont know why people are complaining about not seeing the school play though?? My children have been at this school for five years now & they ALWAYS do more than one of each production so that everyone gets a chance to see it. Maybe just someone who could have maybe afforded private school but chose the best the council can offer instead trying to make them selves or their kid feel better! Mel obviously never did such a great job!!!
