I attended this school from 1937 to 1945 and had good memories. Headmistress was Miss Kelm, strict disciplinarian, had advance ideas regarding health. She had a hand in design of the school in that every classroom (6) had large swing windows ensuring plenty of fresh air. Spent a fair amount of time, in early forties, in the air-raid shelters. Unfortunately a bomb dropped opposite and blew out all the front windows and an incendiary bomb landed in Champions Timberyard causing a huge fire. The school was associated with the Jesuits at Wimbledon College. I was a choirboy at the church there for a few years.

I really love Sacred Heart Primary School. My daughters aged 7 and 2 (Little Hearts Preschool) are really happy there. My oldest has special needs and has been helped by all staff at school to boost her confidence and to improve her learning abilities. It is a lovely school, as all concerns I have politely addressed have been taken seriously : as a parent I cannot decide whether the staff has to do something or not but I can ask for help or advice or even offer some guidance ( especially if I know a lot about my child's condition).
I feel my children have been welcomed to this fantastic community. The PSA is amazing, with lots of helpful, friendly and devoted parents.

A lovely school with great community spirit. Children thrive in a loving but disciplined environment. My eldest son left 4 years ago with great grades and my youngest will leave this year equally. Most importantly, neither of them ever said they didn’t want to go to school. A very dynamic PTA delivers great social events to the School families.

One of my boys is now at secondary school and the other is in Year 5. Both have loved their time at Sacred Heart! Both have progressed really well in their learning and we have always found the school to be a safe and nurturing environment. I would recommend with no hesitation.

This school has been in our family for many years. My husband attended 20 years ago and my daughter left two years ago. It has always been known for being such a great school and on the outside headteacher is fab and so friendly. However, behind closed doors it's a different story. If your child is a square peg and nicely slots into the school's square holes then your child will have a great experience. However if your child is a round peg and needs something above and beyond such as more advanced learning or more support, in my experience you are in trouble and my sen child has been left with long term damage because of decisions the head and SENco made. As a result he has been out of school for 7 months (with no indication when he will find a school) & he has not been given any explanation as to why by the school so his mental health has been hugely affected to say the least. No apology, nothing in writing, it's a shambles!
There are some amazing teachers, although there is a high turnover and the school has a fabulous wraparound club (kids klub) so such a shame it is being let down in such a crucial area such as SEN by the head.

Sacred Heart is a wonderful school, which allows all children to thrive and express themselves individually irrespective or religion, race or Sen needs. I have found the head teacher and all teachers to be nothing but accommodating, welcoming and caring whilst providing a safe environment to allow children to enjoy their education to the fullest. The teachers are always attentive and happy to listen if you need to speak to them at any time. In a recent anonymous survey that was taken stats showed that parents were happy with the support and learning that their children receive at Sacred Heart especially around SEN needs which is important for my child, my child receives all the support and guidance needed to help them throughout their learning and progression through their school years. I would whole heartedly recommend this school for your child.

A fantastic school with a lovely community feel. I feel my children are well looked after and the school leadership and teaching staff do a great job. A good choice of afterschool clubs and the wrap around care with Kids club for before and after school is brilliant for working parents. Holiday clubs during school holidays are also a great offering that my children always ask to attend.
