Unfortunately disappointing experience.

Made the decision to withdraw my children with great reluctance.

Failed to explain valuable details to parents when originally applying to the school.

Avoid avoid avoid!! Unqualified teachers at almost every year. Secular and religious education is below par and most staff have an unhelpful attitude! We have attended for many years and I have never felt so disregarded and disappointment in an institution before. Management (consist of 2 members and 1 is not even a qualified teacher but has many key roles within the school!) seems unwilling and/or incapable of making positive changes. What is perhaps the worst aspect of the school is the extremely ingenious governing body! The chair of this governing body has continuously refused to meet parents and seems to have no real interest in improving the school! Children spend their playtime in an uninspiring and small play area. As far as I can tell the school has made no attempts to improve this and utilities any other spaces that remain unused and derelict on the property. If you are expecting quality education and an Islamic environment for a fee at this school then you will definitely be disappointed. The school have failed their lates inspection, most notably aspects of safeguarding, under the current management and have not been held accountable by the above mentioned governorship. They are left to run the school like a backward village school without any accountability!

Worse than any other school in my life. Ms Sobia the rudest lady. They took £50 for nursery fee . After taking money they told me your child isn’t potty trained sorry we can’t take him. Money gone . Again they didn’t the same after 3 years . They took £100 for admission fee. I didn’t fill any admission form and requested for a refund as we are really struggling but they denied. Ms Sobia is really unimaginably rude . When they take fee they are different people but when you ask about refund they are monsters . They are playing play cards in the name of Allah. My money is gone but I’ve learnt one thing government school and white people are much easy better than these Islamic gamblers. I request you all don’t give them money without taking all information….. I’m still thinking about Ms sobia. I came out crying . My other child has surgery and I had no i idea school time was 7:30. They gave me all the information after taking the money . I remained silent through out the meeting . The. Realised that I got trapped ….. they are cheaters can do anything for money

A small independent Islamic school and nursery. Despite a very small management team, the teachers are incredibly hard working and this past year, things have settled brilliantly.

Compared with my experience of other nurseries, this one is outstanding. They are clearly going above and beyond everyday.

Like most small schools, there are challenges I have seen, like staff retention, but more so a minority of parents are also hyper critical and spreading negativity - but their noise/hype is usually drowned out by the clear efforts and energy I see teaching staff putting in week in week out.

I have 3 children attending and whilst I have to support their learning and there are other schools with better resources, I prefer the muslim ethos at Suffah and place priority on this.

At the point of writing this review, the school has reached a sad point. The school has declined massively under the current management (2017 onwards), and received a failure in 'Compliance' in a recent inspection. Unfortunately my family were victim to the unprofessionalism and malpractise of the current management who work under the governorship of the current mosque trustees. Parental voice and criticism is shut down. There is no PTA/ parent governors at the school. Safeguarding has been a serious issue for parents, and was one of the failures in the inspection. My children are no longer at the school, but I pray it returns to being a good school, with sincere leadership, who adhere to the morals and ethics of Islam.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her experience at Suffah Nursery. The teachers are attentive to every detail and need of the children. My daughter would bring home something she made everyday and was excited to go back the next day. Every activity is well planned and teachers make a lot of effort keeping the little ones busy!

High staff turnover. All the good teachers leave. Failed safeguarding. The latest inspection report conducted by the isi speaks for itself.
