Good when big man mr smith was the head, but apparently its bad now

This is a fab school! My daughter loves it here her confidence and level of work has soared since attending here.
Mrs Haig has made lots of brilliant changes to this school not only in the way that its run but the building works too!
My son is joining in september and i know he will be just fine here.
The office staff are very friendly and helpful and the parent teacher communication is great which is important to me, staff are always on the gate rain or shine greeting the children at the beginning of their day.

This school unfortunatley gets overlooked and has had bad press over the years, but if you want to know what castlecombe is really like go and see for yourself don't pre judge it!
you will realise this school is a hidden gem.
It does not get the recognition it deserves.

The Head Teacher, Mrs Haig is an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She is very simple,kind and approachable! She is an excellent and hardworking leader who ensures that the students are well empowered to become more confident and outstanding .She is indeed leading the school to a greater height. In addition, the school has a great team of excellent teachers and administrative staffs which makes it outstanding in all standard. I must also add that all the teachers who taught my children are simply amazing and excellent! Mrs Haig and her excellent team are doing a great job which has made Castlecombe primary school a safe, warm and welcoming environment for ALL. This is most definitely an Excellent School!
