Mayfield Primary School

Went to First school here 35 years ago, and so did future generations, was good as expected, not sure what its like now.

Fantastic school. My son has attended the nursery for a year doing 30 hours per week and has absolutely loved his time here. I cannot rate the nursery teachers enough, they really are fantastic and have cared so well for my son. He will be starting reception in September and I couldn’t be happier.

Without doubt this is an outstanding nursery, as a local childminder I have visited many in the area and I cannot rate highly enough the teaching, care and support the staff have given my son. My son loves Mayfield and is so looking forward to starting reception in September he will be sad to leave his teachers but is excited to start school full time. I am so happy he has started here and looking forward to the future seeing him thrive and grow in this school.

So far I have found Mayfield to be a fantastic school. My daughter has been through reception and year one and is thriving there and very happy. My son has just finished nursery and about to start reception. I have no doubt that without the brilliant and expert care he has had at nursery he would find full time school very difficult. As it is both he and I are looking forward to next year very much.

Excellent School with superb staff who care for and support the children in their care. Both my children have thrived at the school. The nursery provide 30 hours childcare, all the nursery staff have provided an excellent foundation for my daughter to start reception. Highly recommend the school.

I have found Mayfield to be an outstanding School with a First Class Nursery, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. My children both loved going to Nursery and Reception over the past few years, and have learned so much, the Staff are so caring, professional and experienced. A gem of a School!

My 5 years daughter is in Reception and going to year one now. She has learnt so much in one years time and I am so thankful to the teachers for that. Very professional and kind teachers. They have supported her to build her confidence too. 5 stars to them. Highly recommend this school.

I honestly thought that this school was a great school when my son first started.

but that's not the actual case, they are inconsiderate staff members.
My son attended a school trip where he injured him self, his teachers did nothing about it. I wasn't called to say you son has been injured, he wasn't given any pain relief or anything.

they do not assist kids with the littles things like telling them to tie their shoe laces or zip up their jackets even when its a storm outside.

they favouritism which child the like the best. As a matter of fact they only care for raising money to build a new school, they couldn't careless about the child's welfare.

They are very careless and I would highly recommend that you do not attend this school
