Longlands Primary School

The school is a complete joke. Just heard again, another complaint from a parent that her child is so distressed from being bullied that she is needing home schooling from now on.

I used to go to Longlands many years ago, I also was in fact bullied due to being from Ireland and having a different accent from the other kids. Mrs Dear was my head teacher at that time and she completely disregarded my appeal to sort the bullies out. My brother and family friends further down the line have even been bullied with the same uncaring outcome. The majority of teachers I used to know have now left due to the poor management of the schooI which kind of says it all. I understand that that bullying will always occur until everyone is seen as equal but to think that nearly 10 years on this is still occurring with other children and not being dealt with efficiently is a disgrace.

I’m not usually a negative person but this is continuously happening with Longlands and has proved to have shown no change in dealing with bullying. Hope this gives new parents and children an idea of what the school is like.
