Such a lovely school, the teachers care for the children so well. They're always thinking up fun ways of doing things and exciting treats. The school work is presented in an interesting way and the homework is only focused on reading, spelling and times tables giving plenty of time for after school activities. They've always reacted well to difficulties of any nature and are very understanding. I highly recommend this lovely little school.

The staff at St Michael’s go above and beyond everyday. As a parent I feel respected, that I am listened to and always up to date with what is going on. St Michael's has a lovely school community. They not only educate pupils academically but teach them many life skills. My child goes to school happy and comes home from school happy everyday. I have great confidence in this school.

I cannot recommend this school highly enough! My three grandchildren have attended St. Michael's, one of whom is still there ( in Year 3). Teachers have high expectations of all children and go the extra mile to support them in achieving their best. The quality of education is very good. The headteacher is excellent. She is committed and dedicated to the school, it's children, parents and the staff. All members of staff bear witness to their faith in lessons and by their example. The parish church is very close and the parish priest and the congregation support the school in many ways. The children have a close relationship with the patrons of the local care home which is a wonderful experience for both young and old.
Pastoral care is outstanding. Two of my grandchildren wear hearing aids and teachers went out of their way to learn sign language and adapt their teaching to facilitate their learning. Counselling is also available for those who need it.
The school is very inclusive. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the life of the school and there is a thriving 'Friends of St. Michael's'. Sport is excellent in this school with a dedicated sports teacher and an extra one has just joined. All the children are actively encouraged to participate whatever their ability increasing their self esteem. The children are enriched by the inclusive curriculum which increases awareness of the importance of diversity and preservation of the planet among many other important wider issues. Choosing St. Michael's for your child would guarantee that they would be educated and nurtured.

I’m so impressed with this school . My boys have been here for a year after we moved into the village. All staff have always been supportive , welcoming and professional . The communication to parents is excellent ! They achieve a great mix of discipline and focus along with fun and new experiences for the children . My boys love it there !

Brilliant school, the teachers are amazing and the whole ethos is welcoming. Children support each other through the different year groups which I haven't experienced before.

Fabulous school in every respect. We drive twenty miles every day for our children to attend this school, but would still make the trips even if it was a hundred miles.
