Northlands Wood Primary Academy

An excellent school. A fantastic school even before it became an academy. Primarily due to excellent and dedicated teachers, head teachers and subject leads. At times teachers' turn over was high but it seems normal in many schools around (to my knowledge). Teachers use many up-to-date techniques and technology. PTA is very active! Well managed during both the previous and present head teachers. Celebrates diversity! One obvious weakness: Not excellent in sports and does not provide many opportunities for sports. This is mainly due to poor funding from the government -- a common problem in many UK schools. Can't afford to have qualified personnel to promote sports. PTA tries hard to improve this situation. Overall NWPA is one of the best schools in town !!!

They care about each and every child, lead from a head teacher that cares and have worked hard expanding engaging actives around the school.
