This is a really nice school and the children are very happy there. The modern building and facilities make this a great place for them to learn.

Had a four year old numerate and literate, now have a child who can scarcely count. He is best in his class but now behind his 4 year old sister, just asked him to multiply by ten a concept he has known since three, no dice now. During term time he actively regresses before zooming ahead again in the holidays. Very sad as someone literate to read the semi educated missives home from the teachers, wish I could send back with corrections.
They have zero standards and praise your child constantly meaning when you try to correct their shoddy practice your child will just argue with you that they are correct.

I go to this school and I think its great I have loads of friends and the teachers are very nice and they make sure children are not alone or hurt. Also we selebrate and have party's a lot on special accations .So if I were you I would rate this school a

I phoned the reception to ask whether I could attend a Stay and Play session at the children's centre despite living in Hackney. The receptionist told me that I could attend the Stay and Play session if there is space, but if it is full then Islington families will get priority but most of the time everyone is welcome. So I went to the Stay and Play session on Friday and was told before 'snack time' (time when fruit is shared with the children by the staff) that I could attend this time but was not welcome next time because I didn't live in Islington and the Islington mums are paying for the Stay and Play sessions. Of course this made me feel very embarrassed and not welcome, like if I was trying to take advantage by having my son playing there. Therefore, I left immediately before 'snack time' as the way I was told that I wasn't welcome felt like a 'polite' suggestion to leave...I understand that the Stay and Play session can be attended by Islington citizens only, but the way it was communicated to me felt very unfriendly and inconsistent across the staff...I will probably never go to this center again due to this bad experience. The Sebright Children's center where I use to go has much more friendly and welcoming staff.
