As per usual, however, it does have it's setbacks.
If a parent is on the so-called "board of governors" their child will get MAJOR special treatment and there is absolutely no equal treatment.
The staff are extremely lax and passive with discipline. In my personal experience, my child came home crying about something that happened at school that day, and the headteacher (who no longer works there but I have heard that the new one is even worse) asked the culprits if they had done it in front of the victim (my son) and since they said no while laughing in my son's face, he let it go.
While they are decently professional, some teachers are unbelievably unfair. A certain year 6 teacher for instance, blamed my child repetitively every single day to the point where he was severely depressed, anxious and did not want to attend for fear of being verbally and emotionally abused yet again, for not being able to come in while he had a severe chest infection and was HOSPITALISED for it.
Utter lack of respect.
If you want a stable education for your child do NOT send them here.
Best school I went to, Mrs Bradley was the head teacher then. Hope she is well.
Kind regards.
