If your child has learning difficulties and needs extra educational support, do NOT send them to this school. The SENCO is useless and will not help at all!!
Some of the teachers are really good and can do their job really well but there are those who just wont listen and will let you down!

My son started here in year 5 of primary school. They made him so welcome and he grew in confidence and his grades went up. All the teachers are lovely. I was very impressed with the school.

Worst school I have ever seen. Some of the teachers are bullies including the head principal. They are rude and abusive towards children and parents. Children's grades have gone down since joining this school. Any complaints made are ignored by the head principal and you need to go above to get anything resolved. There are better schools in Wellington and would advise any of these over Wellesley park.

After have my eldest child go through this school with no problems, we have unfortunately had 18 months of ongoing issues regarding bullying and daily harassment. My child has been let down immensely by this school due to their lack of safe guarding and gross negligence of his situation. Due to numerous emails being ignored, and nothing changing over the course of the 18 months I had no choice but to remove my child from the school. His health is far more important and the school unfortunately did not put provisions in place to protect my son from bullying, they enabled my child be put in very upsetting situations daily which had a terrible effect on him and us as a family. I will however say that the pre-school is amazing, the staff at the preschool are fabulous and it’s a lovely environment for children to be in. It’s such a shame that the school has gone downhill like it has when the preschool is doing so well.
