A lovely school! A fairly small school for the area which means it has more of a 'village school' feeling, which is lovely for young children, especially if they may feel a little overwhelmed in a larger school environment. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and everybody knows all of the children by name, so the children feel like they are part of a big family. I have two children (7 and 9) who have been in the school since Foundation. They love the school, adore their teachers and are getting a great education.

Lovely school nestled away in Compton Acres.
Not too big, which gives it a warm friendly atmosphere.
Head teacher knows ALL the children's names (and even some of us adults!) and is always at the gate morning and afternoon to welcome you in.
Children are well looked after and taught exceptionally well.
Great feel about the school, and would recommend to all my friends. 😄

My daughter went to Greythorn and i have one child in year one they both adore the school. The teachers really create a bond with the children . I recommend this school to people looking for a school for their children. As the school helps the children the kids really feel like giving something back to the school and you can see that in the year 6 leavers assembly

A great school who I feel are top marks in enjoying and achieving. Children are given lots of positive praise by means of a brilliant reward system, I feel this encourages the children give their best outcomes. The head teacher is clearly dedciated to the pupils as individuals as she knows each childs name.

Great school, my son was really engaged and has some amazing teachers Miss Hood being the best! He now attends the WBS and he is in the top sets for most subjects all down to a great start at Greythorn.

Whilst some of the teachers are competent and some of the reception staff are welcoming, the school's 'my way or the high way' approach is deeply incompatible with modern life. Poor OFSTED ratings (worse in Rushcliffe), poor management, very difficult to deal with, a failure to acknowledge certain behaviours are taking place -together with a high staff turnover makes for a school you wouldn't want to send your child to.

I went to Greythorn Primary School. I really enjoyed my time at the school, supportive staff, a very happy and positive environment with a real sense of community.

This school provides the best environment for children to achieve, socialise and grow.
