Very poor school, bullying, forgotten children and so much more. Currently has a very poor Ofsted report

This school has diminished over the years. The children's learning is not a priority. The Head Teacher is appaling with no flexibility - that's if your lucky to actually see her. Several govenors have resigned on mass and teacher turnover is very high - This tends to suggest there are lots of problems that are being covered up. There are other local schools that are far better. Please please consider else where for your child's education.

Absolutely AWFUL school.
'Poor communication' is an understatement, particularly from the head teacher whom, when trying to make contact with, had to be constantly chased for days, sometimes weeks on end often resulting in me physically having to go into the school to try and speak to her or going through another teacher to pass messages back and forth between us - why she couldn't call or reply to my emails is beyond me. She didnt seem to have a clue about anything that was going on in the school.
We lasted 2.5 months before we could take no more. My child was not thriving, nor happy there and complained of bullying.
An employee at the After School Club told me that she hated her son being at the school but she couldn't get him into the other local school.
I wish we hadnt wasted 2.5 months at this school. If only I had listened to what my friends had told me of their childrens experience at Ravenshead C of E this would have been avoided.
