The Firs is a superb primary school with a wonderful atmosphere and caring staff. My daughter is extremely happy here, growing in confidence and excelling in all subjects. Not only am I really happy with The Firs for their academic achievements they also provide a fantastic range of sporting, choir and arts opportunities as well as a lots of interesting after school clubs. There is a great parent community and family feel to the school which positively enhances my daughters education. A balanced primary school with fantastic results. Highly recommend.

I have 3 very different children at The Firs and all are happy and content. The school stretches their learning and allows the academically able to learn way ahead of their tender age, whilst the school also amply supports those for whom learning doesn't come so easily.
Pastoral and spiritual support at the school is second to none and all children, parents and staff know each other. Children are polite, articulate and confident whilst having respect for themselves and others.
There are huge array of after school clubs accommodating all ages and tastes.
I would not hesitate to recommend the school to any potential parent. In my sons words 'it's EPIC'!!!

The Firs is a family run school and it shows in the pride and love that the staff/ teachers show to pupils. It's the most incredible place and I love the fact I've never seen a child playing on their own. They all really get on and play together. It's a very special place

Great family run school. The teachers know all the children. My little one can't wait for school. Constantly asking am I going today. The school fits the children into the school not the school into the child.
