Booking was easy though I made a mistake and they called me to amend the booking. Polite and patient staff member helped me book the right service (which couldn't be done online). The engineer arrived as scheduled, having called ahead 30 mins before arrival. Very pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Answered all my questions clearly. Left everything clean and tidy. Would use service again and recommend.

Absolutely atrocious. Customer service is poor. Don't bother sending in a complaint, it wont get answered.

Don't bother booking in a plumber, for many reasons, you get a handyman, not a plumber, when he finally decides to turn up, usually 1-2 days later than arranged.

Don't trust their quotes, we were charged hundreds over the agreed amount and they take your card details at first booking so they take the money even after you telling them you do not consent to them taking any further money due to them failing to carry out the job.

We paid astronomical amounts of money to fix 1 leak on a radiator, it took the handyman 3 visits, and hundreds of pounds, to which we still have a leak and we cannot get a response from the company now, not even the person who 'deals with complaints'.

Rip-off, thieves, don’t use
I had a leak detector booked for 10am, who never arrived. The phone support team first assured me that he would be there at 12pm, but despite various phone calls the person was still not that at 3.30pm. The booking was rescheduled for 9am the next morning. When I finally got to speak to the engineer, he told me that the work that needed doing would take a minimum of 5 hours, despite the phone team having assured me previously that it should take 1 hour. That brought the bill up from just over £100 to £400. When I complained they told me the best thing they could do was a 10% discount, for which I still haven’t received confirmation via email.
Don’t use this company. The people you can speak to on the phone have no idea about the work that you’re booking and will lie through their teeth. Better to book from trades people directly.

I'm not a fan of leaving one star ranty reviews, but Aspect have broken my brain. We have used Aspect in the past for emergency work that was time sensitive, they are pricier, but the tradespeople have always been competent and good quality/ Working with them this time was like night & day.

Our gas was switched off on Saturday due to our carbon monoxide alarm going off. We called on Sunday morning to make a booking and were told a Gas Safe engineer would be with us between 12-5pm the next day (Monday)

At 3pm on Monday we called for an ETA, and were told our booking had been 'lost' but an engineer would be with us that evening, between 5pm -8pm. Despite the mistake being made by Aspect, we were told that we would be charged the premium out of hours rate. We then spent 45 minutes on hold to Aspect to wait to speak to someone to correct this and we were told that we would, in fact, be charged the regular rate.

I'm not one for a conspiracy theory, but maybe that was our mistake, and once we weren't going to be paying the extra rate, we fell off the priority list.

That evening, we called on the hour every hour looking for an ETA. At 6pm, the time was moved to 10pm. Concerned by this, and the errors made by Aspect so far, we asked again and again for confirmation that someone would be here this evening, and were guaranteed, repeatedly, that someone would be here to switch on our gas. We continued to call on the hour, were told consistently that the engineer was confirmed to arrive at 10pm. Until 9:30pm when we were called by someone, claiming that Aspect were "trying their best", cancelling our appointment, and offering to cancel or rearrange 'free of charge'. Lucky me, seven months pregnant with no heating, or hot water for almost 48 hours!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Aspect. Not only did they lack basic communication skills, but their plumber incompetence caused damage to both my bathroom and water spill to my neighbor's flat below us. We had to turn the water off, for our apartment.

To make matters worse, after hanging up on us a few times since we were calling after 7pm, they finally sent an emergency plumber which sealed the water in the bathroom.

They charged us full price for the emergency plumber that was needed to fix the mess they had made. After making my case an explaining we didn't believe this was fair, they threatened us with a legal action and a court case. This is completely unacceptable behavior from a professional service provider. Sadly, we paid this very unjust bill of 153 pounds to put this whole thing behind us.

The job was completed by a different, local company which I couldn't be happier with.

I can't recommend Aspect to anyone. Their lack of communication, bullying behavior and reckless workmanship have caused significant inconvenience and stress, and I would advise others to steer clear of their services. Avoid Aspect at all costs!

The worst customer services I have ever experienced. Do not use this company. The two guys who came out were fine - however the first one completely misdiagnosed the problem, so didn't fix it. We were promised repayment for this visit (nearly £200, we paid £500 for the second) - but 3 weeks later and they are making every excuse possible to not repay. DO NOT give them your card details - they take the money out of your account before you even have an agreed invoice, and clearly don't want to pay it back when they are meant to.

As before - my worst ever customer service experience.

Terrible experience. They charged my 85 year old mother with dementia £300 for a simple job of unblocking her toilet. This mammoth task took them 2 hours! Obviously this was at the heightened price after 5pm even though I deliberately asked for it to be done earlier in the day. Unbelievable. You might be better off phoning your worst enemy next time you need a plumber- would probably be more efficient and probably cheaper!

A nightmare to book an appointment. Chaotic and unprofessional.

Day 1:
Made a booking for an appointment. Was told an engineer would visit in the afternoon.
16:30 No any confirmation. Called them to chase up. It was not until then that I was told he won't make it that day. Rescheduled for 10am-12pm the next day

Day 2:
They rang me at 07:47 asking if I would like to book a visit between 10-12. I thought the booking was already confirmed the previous day. Apparently didn't appear in their own system
No one visited at the scheduled time.
4:30pm received a voice message saying they couldn't make it.
Called them to make a complaint. Although he said, 'sorry', his attitude was like, 'not my problem, I couldn't care less.'
Rescheduled to Day 3, 10am-12pm

Day 3:
11:50 no sign of the engineer. It was not until I called them that I was told it had to be postponed to 2pm.
4:15pm final arrived.

They don't stick to the schedule and they won't tell you if they are running late until you call them.

DO NOT waste time with aspect
