Check in was speedy and efficient, staff was very friendly and helpful and we even got a little welcome box of treats!
All questions were answered before we even asked them and we left feeling reassured and buzzing with excitement, huzzah for moving day!

My experience with them has been very good. Staff have been courteous and I have so far always received responses to queries and issues within hours while searching for a flat, while arranging my current place, and after move in. Check in was quick and very easy as they provided very thorough information pack and a welcome box.

Me and my fiancé were looking to have our first flat together, and while other estate agents let us down. Flat Homes did everything they could to secure us a flat, and any/all issues we addressed were sorted straight away. Their communication is excellent, and we are extremely happy with how well they have looked after us since moving in. Cannot fault their efforts and the company owner should be very proud of his team for the amazing service they have provided. Special mention to Celia, Samantha, Amanda, and Gareth. I’m sure there are others who are also doing amazing work, but these are the ones we have dealt with the most and I sincerely thank them all for making our first home together a wonderful experience ~

Lovely letting agents, first ones I would come back to if I needed to get another place to rent. The staff are friendly and super helpful. 100% would recommend!

Absolutely agreed with other reviews here. They lie in writing, verbally and any other opportunity they get. Had the most unpleasant experience - an ill-maintained dirty property was handed over, back tracking on agreed services and miscommunication about every bit of move-in info. Extremely unprofessional and far from transparent. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

I was moving into my first flat in the city and unfortunately chose a Flat Homes apartment. The agents handed over an absolutely filthy apartment to me. There were used socks, used tissues, food residue strewn across the floor (see pictures). The floor was very sticky and oven was atrocious. I had to call and follow up with them repeatedly on move-in day to get the apartment cleaned again. I had to remind numerous times for a cleaning staff to show up and supervise them myself as they tried to do the bare minimum. In order to make the apartment liveable I had to clean by myself throughout the week.

The horrors on my move-in day didn't end there. During my handover process and in the tenancy agreement, I was assured that postpaid utility connections were in place. At 10 pm in the night, my power got disconnected. With no power and no idea what's wrong, I called their emergency phone numbers but no one picked up. It was a Friday night and bank holiday weekend, and with no response I had to fend for myself. I had to wake up my neighbours, and they were kind enough to inform me that it was a pre-paid meter (tenancy agreement says otherwise) and helped recharge the meter with an emergency balance.

The agents were "kind" enough to call back after my multiple tries to their "emergency" number "after" the long weekend - 3 days after I was left without power, they called me and had the audacity to deny that they did anything wrong. I had to go to their office and show them written proof of documents to make them accept that they had indeed told me the electricity connection was postpaid billing.

The process while leaving the apartment was thankfully much smoother. My deposit refund was processed pretty quickly. They charged very high remarketing fees citing clauses in the agreement, when they themselves failed to follow through so many. In spite of giving me a filthy apartment to move into, they had the cheek to charge me £90 cleaning fee, which I paid. By this time I had lost the will to fight and simply wanted to be done with them.

Please stay away from these agents. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and will strongly advise against engaging with them.

They are not shared bathrooms but tiny shower rooms. Room 2 is currently vacant & is advertised as double glazed. It isn't. Rotten double doors & perspex windows at the top. The pipe outside the room door outside is cracked and leaks. There is also a very substandard repair done by the outside drain after the ground collapsed. If i could give no stars i would. Very badly managed. Property in a poor state of repair. Safety issues and urgent repairs ignored. Charge of £1 to use the cooker and washing machine. Overcrowding no problem. Electric cards are a money making rip off. Property is full of damp and mould including showers! Top floor shower room ceiling is covered in mould. Property not cleaned regularly. The property is dirty. Window cleaners do not exist. Kitchen fire door doesn't close properly. The outside wall is falling apart. There are mice in the property and have been for years. The bins are filthy and smell. The garden is a mess and as for the central heating you won't be seeing that on much!! Never ending heating issues because the landlady won't spend money. Come see for yourself at 17 Howard Gardens Adamsdown Cardiff. You also have 2 occupants living in Room 3 which is illegal!! You are ignorant to the law always. 1 person to a room only. If you aren't happy with my comments that's because you don't want the truth known!!

FlatHomes Priperty Services I have used for 15 years and Gwilym and his team have provided a non stressful time for me as a landlord as problems do arise now and then and things get sorted straight away with the support team in place. For those who are looking for an agent to run there properties these are a must they are profetional and give fantastic value for money and adhere to all the latest rules and regulations that are required. Thanks guys for all what you have done over the years
