Bitterne Library

We regularly use bitterne library as live nearby. Reservations always work, very friendly and helpful. Good stock of books I find as well when I just want something particularly for my 10 year old son who needs constantly more books. Jigsaw today as well to do and no charge. Just brilliant!

The staff here are always so friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. Would highly recommend to visit this library 😊

Love using this library. The staff are fantastic and friendly and knowledgeable. Have been coming here for years with and without children. On my last visit between Xmas and new year I found 3 really recent books that I wanted to borrow. Brilliant.

Lovely library, really helpful staff. Have used this service since my son was 5, we have done the reading challenge every year, with medals being presented by the mayor. They have a toilet. They have photocopiers and computers and printers.

Very friendly and helpful staff and I am enjoying the genealogy meeting on Mondays. Ann and Sheila are so knowledgeable and I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn from them.
