Sittingbourne Library

This is a lovely library to visit.
Really easy machines to scan books in and out. Great children's area with plenty of seating to read to them and so many books to choose from.
Various groups run throughout the week. Including baby/ toddler singing on a Monday and Friday morning.
The staff are all very friendly and very helpful.
Carpark is relatively small, and has disabled spaces though which is good. It is a Ringo pay and display carpark.

I guess the library does not want money, they are doing fine 😂

We had a lovely visit

Quite lovely people at the reception and ensuring that everyone maintains social distancing . The surfaces are sanitized between users and the ladies are very ready to help when needed. Rarely use the library but reminds me of the good old days as their service is comparably user friendly still .

Only complaint - not enough fiction by male authors.

Books, books, EVERYWHERE! And you don't even have to buy them, they just let you borrow them for nothing - how great is that?! I borrowed a yellow one because yellow is a happy colour so reading about the great plague of 1665 will doubtless be a joyous time for me. If you want any meat, however, this is not the place to go.

Very good procedures in place for prevention of spreading covid. Friendly, helpful staff.
