Durning Library

Nice charming little library. Usually has a good selection of books, and computers to use. Some of the staff could definitely be a bit friendlier for a local library, however some of them are great and very helpful!

Used this library today. Staff were courteous and helpful. Historic building is well maintained. An important community asset.

Front desk guy was so rude. Made everything possible to put an obstacle when I went in to print ONE page of a document when another person had told me earlier I could have access to the printer as a guest since it was just a one time thing, if you can go and register somewhere else!!

The older guy is very rude, every single time I go there. Everyone else is lovely but he is always in a bad mood and certainly not accomodating at all. Such a shame.

Every once in a while I work at Durning Library carpet cleaning so I don't really have time to read books or use the computer.

Very beautiful building inside and out 🏣 outer needs some renovation cleaning 🏚️ eclectic book selections 📖, charging 🔌 and seating areas 💺, photocopying area, computer access seating 👩🏼‍💻👨🏽‍💻 public accessible toilets 🚻, staff seem nice, has baby time / toddler reading session 📚 on Wednesday mornings 😇, the only reason that The Durning Library loses 1 star is because some electrical charging points don't work 🙄 low background noise and low fan noise so extra quiet study is much harder to achieve 🤔 recently some people have been leaving the toilet very unclean 😐 change of subject entirely; third Wednesday of the month the Local Councillor 👨🏻‍💼 is available for advice 👍🏽 the Librarians 📚 do seem really nice 😘

Great library with a good range of books and friendly, helpful staff - always able to get what I need!

Always helpful staff and a nice quiet atmosphere. Very handy for printing services.
