Walton Library

A really decent place of study apart from the play area it's just nice and peaceful. Defiantly a library you need to invest your time in. The staff will go above and beyond their duty to make your stay there a Pleasant experience.

Rude staff. Asked for a stapler and just as I said 'thanks very much!' a reply that followed... 'please is the magic word I'm looking for!' (?!?!)
Too rude for a librarian, or whoever this person was before they got the job!!!

Also power at laptop points can switch off 10mins before library closes without any warning! And don't expect apologies or any explanations if you lose your work.

Very nicely laid out public library. Feels like a book store. Good selection of books for kids and teens, detective and thriller, and sci-fi and fantasy. Also DVDs.

Very noisy. Kids running around screaming and parents allowing them to run wild not very pleasant if you are trying to work quietly. I don't mind children in a library but not to treat it like a park

left the library after about 10 minutes as there were children running around and screaming with parents doing nothing to stop them. People were answering their phones and one mans phone kept receiving messages every few seconds. The staff just ignore the noise and it is impossible to concentrate on anything.

Excellent local library. Helpful to have drop off box on ground floor. Good activities for children on Wednesday afternoons.

Helpful staff and good range of books. I cannot understand why more people in Walton do not make use of this great facility in the town.

Love this library and all the staff are so helpful but please can people be encouraged to talk quietly- especially those with children? People come here to study and concentrate, thanks
