Idea Store Canary Wharf

I go to this store every week, it holds a Slimming World group every Tuesday in one of their meeting rooms. All clean and tidy as is the library area, Reception Desk are always helpful if you have a query.

Most of the librarians here are friendly and helpful and run a really wonderful story time session in the mornings. Unfortunately, we’ve had a few who have been very grumpy and rude: Even to the little toddlers and babies!

Great selection of books for adults and children though and lots of effort goes into displays etc. Well worth a visit if you’re a parent of young children.

Usually a very nice place! The other day i was sitting at the front and there was 10 minutes left till closing, a guy with glasses told me “sorry you will either leave right now or we will get the security to kick you out” and i literally didnt know what to say. Then i looked at the time and told him there is still 10 minutes left till you close! He replied “ everyone else has left you should too”. Then i tried to bring it up with a lady at the front desk and this guy would keep interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak ! Very unprofessional

It is in the basement, opposite to Waitrose. They’ve few three or four room to sit and work on laptop. A great place to work. Their is a section for kids which is a bit noisy sometimes.
Water, yes they’ve.
Washroom super clean.
A great place to work and the best thing is it close at 9pm.

Original review left in August: They tape over the sockets in learning labs (rooms for studying), which means you cannot charge your laptop there. Outside the learning labs the sockets aren't taped over, however, people (staff included) talk loudly. You have no rights to ask people to be quiet outside learning labs because that space is not designated as a quiet area. My suggestion is: stop taping over sockets in the learning labs, people need to charge their laptop (and study using their laptop) and enjoy silence in the same space.

A good place to study. The study desks are available often. Do not wait for a high-quality desk or chair however meets the needs. A headphone is recommended if you need silence. The children part naturally may cause a little bit of noise. This is normal but staff or adult visitors are the real reason for the noise!
The wi-fi speed is not perfect but enough to researches. I did not try but the speed may not be enough to watch video documentaries.

Not too many people and reasonably quiet. Has two rooms perfect for study or work on a laptop. Layout of desks on the rooms allow for good social distancing.
