Very chilled place to browse books, read and study. Easy to borrow and return books with the electronic system and you can renew books from home. Childrens' corner is very nice and my niece loves it here. There is a small selection of books and stationary for sale as well. It would be nice if there were toilets.

I actually went in to use the tables to study. I felt completely comfortable doing this. I found that there were information leaflets about Woking and events, and other information about events in the library itself. I needed to photocopy some things for study, it was easy to do at 10p A4 black and white. Other options are £1.00 A4 colour or £1.50 A3 colour.

In one corner there were lots of books retired from the library. Children’s books were 25p and some titles there were several copies available. Good titles too like the Gruffalo and Aliens in Underpants. Adult books were on offer at 50p.

On purchasing the books, I found the staff member very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

A good facility.

Surrey libraries have been a huge aid to my high education learning while in lockdown.

Super impressed by the service by Woking library in particular. Extremely responsive and attentive, went above and beyond to help me with library and renewal issues. I can’t say I’ve been in the library for any other purpose than to loan and return books but if it’s anything like what I’ve experienced so far, it’s among the best.

Will continue to support and use Surrey libraries as long as I live in Surrey!

Clean well appointed library, enjoyable rhyme time, selection of board books for the very youngest readers is very limited but childrens books in general do have a good available range.

I went to the Library this morning to find early reader book for my almost 5 year old, he's keen on reading and is just learning so needs the real basic books, I was told to look for the blue labelled early reader books and find one that suits his skill level, the variation between these is absolutely ridiculous, there was nothing and I mean nothing other than picture books, books with stories that parents read to your children and early reader books that are anywhere btwn a child who can read fluently to being a free reader. Super disappointed with the selection, the library is beautiful and staff are OK but how can you be a library that doesn't have book on how to learn to read!!??

In my experience, the staff are all very helpful and always willing to go out of their way to provide the best service.
The library as a whole has a very homely feel and the book selection is very wide (though I would not go as far as to guarantee that you'll always find what you're looking for as sometimes you won't). The shelves are always well organised and it is easy to find what you're looking for.
The automated checkout is very effective and it allows you to quickly renew, borrow or return books during your visit or at the end or beginning.
An interesting feature of the library is the massive variety of children's books in Chinese and Russia that have been donated. This is great if you're trying to teach your child their native language (or just want to read them a book in it) but it is also great for language learners who are looking for an easy read with simple grammar and spelling.
Therefore, whether you're looking for a quiet place to read/study or browsing for books, I would definitely recommend Woking Library!
