It's so frustrating that the telephone line is engaged constantly! I've been trying all afternoon yesterday and all morning today, only to get an engaged tone every time. A much better telephone system would be if the caller was placed in a queue. At least then you'd eventually get answered and know what position in the queue you are. Most surgeries these days have this facility.

A lovely little local village doctors. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. And they ring back the same day.
There is parking but it's tight and you need to be slightly careful in the carpark. I've seen some questionable driving.

Appalling service and absolute failure to care. I called Friday at 1330 to speak with a doctor as I thought my 10 month old had worms, I was asked to send over pictures and that they would call me back. I was called back within minutes, the receptionist told me that the doctor hadn’t looked at the pictures but told me to go to the pharmacy as they will deal with her there. I take my little girl to the pharmacy where I am told pharmacies aren’t licensed to prescribe medicine to under 2’s for worms - you would have thought the doctor would have known this, it seems that they are too eager to fob us off. I called the doctors back at 1430 and explained the situation and was told I would get a call back, I actually asked if this would be dealt with on the day as I was conscious of the time and the receptionist told me it would as my little girl couldn’t be left over the weekend. I called again at 1630 and 1830 and was promised a call back each time. The surgery closed at 7, low and behold I never received a call back so our little girl was left over the weekend with no medical advice or medicine. Today (Monday afternoon) I’ve received a text advising that her prescription is ready, what prescription? What is it for? No one has bothered to confirm if it is worms. It seems that no one at this surgery can speak, the doctors aren’t interested in helping or seeing anyone, you’d think because of her age the doctors would act on their duty to care but obviously not.

NHS are a free service, so expectations are low. This practise spectacularly fails to meet them. Mix behind the times, with rude ignorant and unhelpful staff. They won't use electronic prescriptions, so they require a supply of stamped addressed envelopes to use an online pharmacy. All but forcing most to use their in house pharmacy and make trips to collect medications.

Cannot fault the nurse that I had my appointment with, she was very bubbly friendly and we had a laugh which eased me, however the receptionist was quite the opposite. Rude blunt and questioning me and being argumentative with other members of staff, all in regards to changing my name after having a divorce. Not the attitude you would want especially if your feeling not well!

Very poor system for appointments. Note that the only way you can discuss with a doctor is if you call on the day between 8 and 11. It’s not possible to call after 11 and request a call back the following day.
Incredible how archaic and unhelpful a surgery can be, especially with the excellent addition of the remote collections. On one hand they think of patients who do work, on the other hand they don’t allow planning

I've had to go to this surgery for 15 years and I can safely say in that time I've never been treated so poorly and neglected as a patient. When I was 15 I went to the doctor with quite serious mental health concerns. I was told I "just needed to get a grip then" by the doctor. To this day I've never forgotten those words because that doctor put me back from receiving help. I later went to a doctors at my university and tried again. I was then diagnosed with a serious condition by a psychiatrist. I was taken seriously. I was falsely diagnosed with ringworm at Moulton and was put on all sorts of cheap creams to treat what was simply eczema, which was easily diagnosed by my university doctor. I suffered with severe pain and embarrassment about my skin for 5 years because the doctor at this surgery couldn't diagnose my skin condition properly. Not only can they not handle patients with mental health but they can't even diagnose a basic skin condition correctly. The staff and reception at this doctors are rude, unhelpful, and ignorant. It was like pulling teeth just to receive repeat medication and I was discharged from this doctors without even being told. No letter, no phone call, nothing. Total patient neglect. I am so thrilled to never go back to this doctors ever again. Save yourself the hassle and go to a different surgery nearby.

Telephone and appointment system is totally shambolic. Mr Wife has been waiting for the results of a knee x-ray. Telephoned this morning and was told to ring back this afternoon for results. Rang back this afternoon and was told to telephone again in the morning to speak to a doctor. Could have told her that this morning. Ridiculous.
