NCP Car Park Crawley Parkside

Terrible experience here. I had issues using the app to pay for the car park. The big NCP sign clearly stated that there is no cash payment and no machine in there. I contacted the NCP customer service and had the worst treatment and experience ever. I provided the park location code and they could not find the correct car park and insisted every NCP car park has a cash machine. They were so unhelpful and horrible. I will never ever use it again.

Avoid if you have a Blue Badge. Plenty of alternative free parking for Blue Badge holders elsewhere in Crawley.

Do not park on the right hand side!!!!!

I was given a £100 fine for parking on the UKPC side. Apparently it is privately owned despite there being only 1 entrance and looking like 1 car park. Absolutely disgusting. The parking attendant waited for us to leave then ticketed us immediately.

Just menacing. Only one way to pay by App. then you have to be careful you are not parking in a private space. Totally puts me off going to Crawley to shop. NCP and the council and shop keepers beware you are all losing visitors and money.

Very easy to park using the NCP parking app. You just have to make sure you have chosen the right number for the car park you are parked in which is displayed on their sign. No more fiddling around with loose change at the machine or someone behind you breathing down your neck so you can hurry up and get on with it. Plus the App reminds you when your time is about to run out, you can easily to top up wherever you are.

Oh and beware, part of this carpark is for permit holders only so look out for the sign and notices.

There are bits to the carpark that are clearly marked parking spots that are apparently considered "private land" (but are not marked as such).

We paid for parking, went for a quick shop in M&S and were ticketed £100 for our shop.

The ticketing man was right there and extremely aggressive. I was in shock. The cars on either side of us also made the same mistake and couldn't believe it. A total mobey grab! And at the holidays too, such a shame.

I will never use this carpark again. I bought a ticket and get fine because I parked in the wrong side of the carpark. There 2 different parking operator on the same parking spot, and nothing to tell you which bay is operated by who. I can understand why: it's an easy way for them to get £60 from your pocket. This is place is just a scam.

Car park doesn't take cash or card any more, have to download the NCP app. 50% of the spaces are private too and poorly signposted on the wall - would have been much better to have painted a dividing line or signs stating private behind a point.
