Taunton Pool

Very friendly welcome at reception. Able to use this pool with the same membership package as Blackbrook Leisure Centre, so handy as a backup if the Blackbrook Pool gets too busy over the school holidays. Enormous pool but very deep at one end, so non-swimmers can only use half of the pool. Changing facilities were OK. Unfortunately with this being town centre based there is a charge to park.

Been coming here regularly for years, always nice and clean, always friendly staff. Nice long 33m pool with ample space for you to overtake slower swimmers (or vice versa) during the lane swims as well as a sauna which adds a lot, definitely excellent to use post-swim.

Lovley pool and nice staff. Has two saunas, wet and dry heat, I'd recommend getting the pass for them. The pool is very deep at the end and has a steep drop which we liked trying to get to the bottom like children haha for the record we're in our 20s.

I find it disgraceful how staff talks to people and that it Is very shocking that we have to pay £4.70 for a shower when already paid for swimming! I don't like the fact that the staff don't give anyone privacy and spy on people and relationship.
And I find it unfair that the staff pressured to pay a pound for a lock for our stuff which I am aware of but it's not right to pressure people where they can put their stuff and I find them abit judgemental aswell complaining where people put their stuff and if paid for the shower which I find unfair when we paid for swimming and shouldn't be charged twice the staff can be rude and the pool is the worst andgave me a very bad hayfever

Visited pool with grandchildren. Not allowed in until 2 30 due to Lane swimming. Bank Holidays times need to be clearly indictated on website not just general opening times. Also car parking should be reimbursed for pool use as it adds to cost of going ou

Just visiting Taunton. Lovely pool. Great service from reception staff as they sorted out a problem with my membership; very friendly and helpful.

Superb pool and facility in centre of Taunton. However this facility sadly lacks cleanliness and general maintenance. Sauna is nothing like the picture advertised and is dirty, no lighting. Steam room similar. Communal showers are not clean, hair and grime are prevalent.Entry showers do not work they trickle. Toilets are a disgrace. Come on Every one active give it a clean
