Goodwood Racecourse

Great day out at the races !
Shuttle buses run from Chichester station to the races for 8£ return for per person. Different enclosures depending upon the ticket purchased and access to food stands a d drinks

The sound of the horses going by was amazing. Friendly atmosphere. Busy but did not have to wait for drinks or food. I would suggest bringing chairs if you cannot stand for long periods as the seating in the stands are wooden and not that comfortable and any food stand tables were taken all day. Sadly by the 3rd race in so many picnic blankets by the rails stopped us getting close to watch the horses go by. Lovely day overall but not the best racecourse

A good place to spend a day with family or with friends. You can come take a picnic and spend a nice time admiring the races as well as the views.

I’ve heard so many good things but the overall experience was nothing special. Lack of staff, slow service and well over priced food that was basic. 45mins to get a drink is not acceptable and then the second bar we went to shut as they couldn’t take payments and couldn’t take cash. I understand going cashless but this leaves you with no options when payment problems occurs and in turn makes your paying customers unhappy. Course is nice and the buses to and from the course from the station were well organised. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

An absolutely gorgeous setting to get close to horse racing. Great location services, and people.

Goodwood was Glorious! Needs no introduction. Great flat racing venue in the beautiful South Downs.

Good day out, good atmosphere, but make sure you prepare, and do some research if you want to win something 😉 (yes, I didn't do my homework)

Very organised place with lots of security.
Had a lovely afternoon watching the racing. Everywhere on site was clean, no litter, the toilets had attendants and were very clean.
