Quiet Mayfair shop with a lovely assortment of antiquarian books. Found a lovely one for my wife for our anniversary. Shopkeeper is a sweet man as well.

I recently purchased online a rare (possibly unique) publisher's leather-bound version of Len Deighton's Berlin Game, by Alfred E. Knopf of the US. The item arrived today and it is exactly as it is described in the company's description on the ABE Books website, and I am very pleased with it. Angus Robb contacted me straight after the process and kept me informed about each stage of the sale and delivery, and I did feel reassured that I was purchasing from a proper bibliophile and dealer, rather than just a seller of old books. Once this lockdown is over, I would be keen to visit the actual store.

My partner and I have known Sapero Rare Books , for now 10 years now . The new art gallery they have now moved in is just amazing, classy and beautiful. The entire team is knowledgeable and very polite .
We have built our small ART collection completely based on Mr. Bernard Sapero’s art wisdom and experience. We cherish his friendship and value his vision .
WE FEEL BERNARD IS THE GEORGE CLOONEY OF THE ART WORLD !

Called the main desk enquiring about rare books, the lady whom I spoke to was very rude and demeaning. Whoever is in charge needs to get this sorted if they think they're going to have any clients. 100% would not recommend to anyone.

I must express my true gratitude for organising the Rickenbacker exposition. It was so memorable. The interview with John C. Hall was unforgettable. What a treasuretrove of great memories and remarkable guitars.

Absolutely an incredible and unique store in the heart of Mayfair.

Their collection and selection of rare books and items is absolutely incredible.

The staff are extremely knowledgable and helpful.

The art downstairs is amazing and modern art also on show.

Upon entering the store, the shopkeeper immediately got up and started following me and my friend, which was unusual because there were others in the store who were not being followed. The atmosphere was not at all friendly and it felt as thought he thought we were going to shoplift? My experience was uncomfortable and I’m sad that we weren’t able to stay for longer.
