Elliot Oliver

Having recently sold a property through Elliot Oliver I would not hesitate to recommend their services. We dealt primarily with Ross and throughout the process (valuation, viewings, offer and sale) he was always honest, open, reliable and professional. All in all he went above and beyond to deliver a great service.

We were looking to sell our house and our friends recommended Elliot Oliver. From the moment we contacted them they have been very warm and efficient. We were looking to get the ball rolling fairly quickly and within a couple of days of contacting them they were able to send Faye over to view and value the house. Faye was lovely, gave us some really honest advice and was brilliant with our lurcher who ended up cuddling up with her on the sofa while we talked house business!
Elliot Oliver managed to get our house on the market within a week of contacting them. The photos and measurements taken very promptly and everything was checked with us before going live. We really appreciated how flexible they with us having full time jobs and a dog. Correspondence has been completely at our convenience- calls/ texts/ emails and even on evenings when we have been home from work. We thought that the the photos taken were really well done and very professional.
Libby and Abby in the office have been very efficient with organizing our paperwork and correspondence.
Viewings were lined up pretty quickly and the house was sold within a few days to buyers we were happy with. Ben conducted most of the viewings, again working around us and the dog. At the time we didn't have an onwards property and with many offers on the table he was able to help out with selecting the correct buyer who would be patient and reliable, not the one who was offering the most money and who Elliot Oliver would make the most commission from.
Lots of the advice Ben gave us rung true as we ourselves were starting to search for our next property. We have also come across a lot of estate agents recently and feel that there are very few in Cheltenham who do as good a job as Elliot Oliver.
When we were finally approaching putting on offer on a house we loved Ben gave us some great advice on how to pitch our offer and was able to draw on his local knowledge. I genuinely believe that the advice he gave us made all the difference and helped us secure the house, even when he wasn't going to gain anything from helping us!
Its very easy to think that estate agents are purely driven by the financial gains they can make. I don't believe this about Elliot Oliver, I think they are just trying to help good people buy and sell homes.
In summary Elliot Oliver are very patient, efficient and kind group and I would absolutely recommend them to friends and would use them again in the future.

Ross recently sold our house. He did a great job throughout the process keeping us in the loop with every step. The pictures did a great job of showing off our house to its full potential.

The whole process was smooth which in the currently climate is reassuring.
