After good experience of buying property from this estate agent some 12 year ago we have also decided to sell it with them. Selling experience was not as great. Agent suggested to price the property 25 000 pounds less than what we have actualy sold it for at the end, after going with our own price. So we had to do their job of correctly pricing the property. Also we have asked not to put the property on market before our builder will be done with repairs and he did put it online. I bet we have lost many buyers that have seen the property in quite bad shape after our previous tenant. And then they charged us (o:

Very two faced about their lettings. We were often told one thing and then they delivered another. I expect estate agents to be a bit untrustworthy and putting their business first, that's how life works, but P&H seemed to go about it all in a particularly untrustworthy manner. I'm sure they'll figure out what I'm complaining about and reply with excuses, but it certainly won't paint the whole story.

We bought our first family home via Proffitt & Holt and mainly spoke to John Armstrong and Paul Thompson. We felt they were extremely professional and responsive; Paul ensured the process went smoothly and was excellent at following up to keep the ball rolling. Any issues were resolved very quickly and we found them very polite on the phone too. This is a long term house for us, but if we ever needed to buy or sell in the future, we would not hesitate to go back to them or recommend any of our friends too!

I will start by saying that a house purchase is always a stressful process, however, we were lucky to meet, be guided and looked after by John Armstrong and Clare Foley. When we had any question or raised a concern, John and Clare literally jumped on the phone, gathered the information and within minutes, we had an answer.
