Stags Estate Agents Taunton

We bought our house with the help of George and Clare from Stags and we were very impressed by how hard they worked to help us get into our house before Christmas. They gave us good advice and kept the process moving along, even when we hit a glitch. We would thoroughly recommend them to others.

An excellent experience.

We sold our house in 3 days with Stags at full asking price. We also bought via Stags and were able to complete within under 2 months from putting our house on the market.

Stags Staff are very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. We would recommend appointing them and will do so again next time we move.

We are trying to buy a property in Taunton, and found one on right move which looked suitable. I emailed ands asked for a response.....nothing. So I rang the next day, being a Saturday at 12.30 (no one explained they closed at 13.00) i was told sales will phone you back.
By 13.45 I rang again as I hadn’t been phones, and got recorded message, now shut till Monday..

What a perfect example of poor customer service. If they told me when I rang, its too late, I would have understood. But now I have to wait till Monday, and see if we can arrange e a viewing. I can only assume they are making so much money, they can ignore potential customers, and respond at their convenience.

I just hope this is not an portent of what to expect, if the sale moves forward!!!

Update:
The Following morning, i received a phone call from David who restored my faith with Stags. He answered all my questions, organised a viewing and apologised for the mistake in regards to lack of communications.

So for now, i am more than happy with their service, and besides it’s nearly Xmas so a little tolerance will not go amiss.

I would like to echo the sentiment of many other Stags Taunton reviewers on here: they don’t respond to enquiries.
I submitted an enquiry about a property both via Rightmove and their own website. They didn’t respond for a week, and even then it was only to inform me that the property had been let in the interim. No offer to help me find another property, etc. I then found another property with them that had been put online just moments before. I asked them to call me back ASAP so that we could make an offer - we know the area well and know that the house is what we’re looking for, and I knew they would not bother to assist me with a viewing - and instead they sat on it, ignored my enquiry, arranged back to back viewings, and sent me a dismissive email (I specifically asked them to call) telling me it was essentially too late and to be on my way. Absolutely appalling customer service. I would not recommend Stags to anyone: completely incompetent, and seem to delight in wasting potential customers’ time.

This is my first time dealing with Stags after working in the property industry for a number of years. I have been extermely impressed with their organisation, recommendations and support through my buying process.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Stags Taunton to friends & family, and would like to make a special thank you to Claire, who is always a delight to deal with. Thank you.

Literally never respond to viewing requests. Cash buyer with other properties - not a tyre kicker. Bought three other properties in Taunton alone so not a time waster. Messages left, emails sent and nothing. Others have exactly the same experience so not unique. Looking at a 730k property and asked 3 times for a viewing by email. If I was the seller I'd be none too pleased with that. Workshy at best - dodgy at worst. I'll certainly never use them for any sales.

Lara is proved to be an excellent manager! She is extremely responsible and her response is quick and reliable! She is excellent in communication with both landlords and tenants and all the documents are well-prepared and accurate! We like her manner and working spirit so we highly recommend all the tenants to cooperate with Lara since she is highly successful and reliable! As an agent, she deserves 100 marks!

Excellent selection of properties. Let down by a website where you can't remove sold or under offer and have to scroll through pages of them to see what is actually available.
