Gatekeeper Estate and Letting Agent in Aylesbury

I have had really poor service from a number of rental agencies over the last few weeks but the customer service I am getting from Gatekeeper is like a breath of fresh air. I am being kept in the picture! I get my calls returned. Messages get passed within the office with added value provided when possible. Trying to rent a property is particularly difficult at this time but I think this is causing many agencies to drop their standards on the basis the phone is always going and there is always another customer. My experience with Richard today has been 'over and above' with texts and emails advising me of any issues that may or may not cause me a problem. I am being kept in the picture and provided with times and dates for the next stage. Gatekeeper seem to treat all their customers with respect so I don't expect any favouritism however their honest approach and positive communications leave me with a greater level of confidence in the letting process and their approach to it.

We did a viewing this week and our thoughts are as follows:
- Very communicative prior to appointment
- Very personable before, during and after the appointment
- Very helpful and wanted to give as much information as possible during the viewing in a bid to help us make the best and most informed decision
- We felt that Richard truly understood both our needs and requirements
- Richard was very flexible in terms of the appointment
- We really enjoyed the viewing experience and have never enjoyed the process of booking and subsequently looking around a property quite as much as we did during our Gatekeeper appointment.
Thank you for such a great experience!
That said, we put in an offer the very next day and then the followup afterwards by the office and the conversations that took place, were subpar and a real anticlimax to promises of and the experience we'd just had of the company.
To summarise the experience: whilst the offer fell through - which can happen - the conversations had around and about taking the property, didn't leave us feeling respected or valued at any point.

Richard was extremely helpful. Very patient. What I liked most about Richard is he is very honest and transparent about everything from the beginning. I liked that he got the forms to fill out which if someone likes a flat it does not waste anyone's time. Told us whatever problems are there in the flat will be taken care of. Great person. This shows the professionalism of the company and its team members

Phil provided a service which was second to none. He answered all my questions and guided me through the application form. He explained everything to me and made it clear that he was always at the end of the phone if I needed further assistance. I would definitely recommend Gatekeeper to anyone wishing to rent.

I have dealt with Phil and Sarah from Gatekeepers. Phil was very professional, always happy to help and always very reactive on his phone. He has been very helpful answering my questions and when he didn't know the answers, he followed up with those who would know on a very timely manner and got back to me asap.

My interactions with Sarah have been very limited at this stage. However she has also been very punctual. She has kept me informed of the status of my application at all stages and I never felt like I didn't know no where my application was going.

I would definitely recommend gatekeepers as an estate agent. My my experience has been very positive and very quick, which is exactly what I needed in the current circumstance.
