Absolutely terrible customer service, wasted an hour of our time by not turning up and never apologised for doing so. Utterly unprofessional. For those interested, details below:

We arrived to view a property ten minutes before the appointment time, after the office had confirmed the viewing an hour earlier. There were no signs anywhere indicating that the house was being let.

When the time of the appointment rolled around there was no sign of the agent from Alexander May. We called the office to confirm we were at the correct address (we were). The office said the agent should be there because they "left the office ages ago". We were told to wait as he should arrive imminently, or may already be inside the property.

Ten minutes after the appointment time, there was still not sign of the agent. We call the office again, who said they would try to get hold of them. When they get back to us, we were informed that traffic had caused the agent to be late and that they were just around the corner. We had just driven across from the same part of town with zero issues, and knew that there was minimal traffic. We were informed that the agent was two minutes away, so told them we would wait another five before we left (we had another viewing to go to).

Five minutes pass, no sign of anyone, so we leave. We never received any followup phone call, either to rebook or simply apologise. Dire!

Matt helped us to rent out our home while we moved abroad. It was our first time being a landlord and dealing with the relatively complicated case.
Matt is very professional was great helping us mitigate through the situation including assessing the market condition and producing a good appraisal, arranging the viewings, discussions with our tenants, as well as helping us to preparing the house prior to the start day.

We had previously had our house on the market with the a top competitor for over 3 months without much interest and low offers below our asking price, after switching to Alexander May Clifton we our choice of offers above the asking price I’m the first week. Unfortunately our chain fell through but Alexander May again got us 3 first time buyers to choose from 2 days after this happened with exceptional offers above asking price. Huge thanks to Paul, Sarah and the team as they have been extremely helpful throughout going above and beyond to not only get offers but complete in record time with constant updates and overall excellent service. Highly recommend using the Clifton branch and do ask for Sarah to do vieiwngs she is fantastic!

We used Sarah at Alexander May to sell our flat and were really impressed from the start. Sarah worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly, regularly updated us and we felt well taken care of.

Moved into a “professionally cleaned” house, found toenail clippings and other rubbish littered throughout the rooms, our basic requests and complaints at the beginning of the tenancy were met with the response “it isn’t a luxury property”. Found bugs in a mattress, mentioned this and never heard anything back. Overall their conduct was slow and unprofessional.

Lisa Patch is basically a great person and helpful staff whom I never saw like before. Although she is overstretched in her duties and working for only limited hours per day, she is always replying on my emails early and helping as much as she can. I think Alexander May company is lucky because she has someone like Lisa working for them. Thanks a lot Lisa for all of your help.

I highly recommend Rob and Rekha from the Clifton Office, they look after my rental property and are absolutely brilliant.
