Nicholas Estates (Ipswich Property Sales)

This is one of the worst property management companies I have ever come across.

Firstly serious issues reported with the property such as leaks mould and other minor faults were not fixed in the 4 years they were the property managers (more on that later)

Secondly, 2 years had passed and they used the issues as a way to threaten us to sign a 6 month contract instead of paying monthly which is blackmail. I have no way to prove this as it was over the phone but I have emails to prove the issues reported were not fixed.

The final chapter, after our landlady contacting us to let us know they were taking over from Nichols estates. I found non of the serious issues with the property had been reported to the landlady.

Tennant or rental property owner steer clear of this company in my experience they are thugs not above using blackmail if they need quick cash.

Andrew and Chris sold my one-bed flat in just four days. Absolute professionals and couldn’t be more friendly. Andrew makes you feel like you are always their most important customer and selling your property is his top priority… even on a tiny flat like mine where they will only earn the lowest commission going. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They always kept me in the loop and replied to my emails and phone calls immediately. I wouldn’t sell a property with anyone else. Thanks guys!

I would give 0 if I could. This is probably the worst real estate experience I have had in my life. I was a tenant with them a couple of years ago. They took a deposit of around 695 pounds. I left the place cleaner than I found it. I was sent pictures about some small items that were left and how the apartment was a little dirty. I said ok you can take that from the deposit . They said they would get back to me. I got very busy with work and life and forgot about the deposit. Almost a year later I remembered that no one had contacted me or given my deposit back. I called them and they didn’t apologise , gave 95 pounds back. When I asked about the rest of the money they said it took that much to clean the apartment and remove items. I know for a fact it does not take 600 pounds to get a two bed apartment cleaned and to remove a few cups- removal was not to do with any furniture. Hence I asked for receipts , to which they said oh because it was a while ago it would be difficult to retrieve that many receipts . So they ripped me off. Not just that they also are the rudest and most entitled. Please do not use their service .

Nicholas estates sold a house of mine, and everyone I dealt with (mainly Andrew & Zoe) were fantastic. Honest, keep me in the loop, and protected us from the buyers pressures. Would defiantly use again. Thank you

I have just completed a purchase through Nicholas Estate, Absolutely delighted with the quality of service from day one to completion. We had few ups and downs in the process as alwayes expected but the team at Nicholas Estate was alwayes updating and making sure i am fully infomed, gently pushing the process through to the completion. Thank You Chris, Zoe, Andrew and every one at Nicholas Estate.

Agent named Callum didn't show up for a property viewing which I drove 40 minutes to see. Stayed for over half an hour. Couldn't get anyone in the office to answer the phone to tell me where they were. When I did eventually get through to someone, they advised me to just go home and to reschedule. Waste of half my day!

Andrew sold my house, very professional, sold very quickly with minimum fuss. Pleasure to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone looking to sell their house!

Worst estate agents I've come across. Rude, unresponsive and repeatedly left my property in a filthy state despite charging tenants a hiked up cleaning fee upon vacating the property. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
