Placed for sale in August 2020 with the Newtown office after realising the agent I was with was not performing. MMP were outstanding in every respect they obtained 12 viewings in 13 days (Inclusive of weekends) whereas the other agent managed 3 in 5 weeks. I was in dire straights after a relationship breakdown and needed a home immediately for myself and my little boy. We used MMP Newtown recently to secure a rental in the local area. The staff were extremely professional, namely Sue, Rhiannon and Mandy. They dealt with all aspects of the process in a clear and efficient manner. All communications were responded to promptly and we couldn’t have asked for better agents to deal with. Absolutely superb staff and we would not hesitate in recommending them.

MMP were great when I moved into a property with a friend and later were very helpful when the tenancy changed to myself and my partner. All requests we made through them were dealt with well. However, when the time to move out came we were informed that the entire 575 pound deposit was being kept for “cleaning” despite myself and my partner cleaning the house top to bottom and painting the living room, kitchen and a bedroom out of our own pockets over the last 4 and a half or so years. We did manage to claw back 275 pounds with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and had to reluctantly accept this after our request was ignored for a week and a half. However, this still leaves 300 pounds of deposit that was kept for “cleaning”. We were also not offered a pre departure check so that we could sort the issues that they had with the house and claim our full deposit back. All in all this felt like either the company or the landlord were trying to pull a fast one on us in the hope we wouldn’t contest the decision.

Everything about the sale was handled excellently. From the quality of the video, the details of viewings, to keeping us informed of progress, we felt guided and supported and the final outcome was better than we ever expected. Thank you
