Playing Aloud

Martyn and Scott who run Playing Aloud are both passionate about growing the local music scene and have really helped our band get off the ground running with some top demo tracks. So far every venue who has heard them has booked us in!

Always happy to give advice, not just musically but also in terms of getting a new band (effectively a local business) off the ground.

I’m sure we’ll be back soon when we start learning our next set. In the meantime book with this place without hesitation!!

Amazing facility, truly one of a kind. The owners are knowledgable and so friendly. 10/10 for rehearsals and recording. Free tea and coffee too!

After 10 years of writing music and hiding away I finally decided to record one of my songs and I could not of chosen a better place to do it. I was so nervous and under confident before I walked in and as soon as i did all that changed. Martyn made me feel very comfortable the whole time I was there and his extreme knowledge and producing skills made me feel like my music was in the safest hands it could be. I can't wait to return. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant . Didn't think I would ever have / produce my own song but after turning up with just the chords and lyrics , these two very talented guys brought my song to life Scott is a mega talented drummer and Martin was on bass and guitar ....just wow ! Felt at ease within minutes of being there . Can't wait to go back . People please try this place , especially if you're new and apprehensive.
