Great rehearsal studio, nice kit and well looked after, would recommend for any bands practice especially the in-room recording features

Great studios. Easy to use, great information given before rehearsal by email, and the room was just what we needed, with everything to hand! Will definitely be using this place more often 👌🏻

Great studio to use with some good facilities. Bit warm with the air-conditioning pulling in heat but a very good space.

Booking was simple and straightforward, parking was a problem on a busy weekday but where is there not a problem with parking anywhere! no problems with access codes, clean and tidy building, studio room was immaculate, everything worked as it should, what you get for the money is really amazing.

Used pirate studios in cheltenham for the 1st time as a back up studio. The place was full of cheap under powered kit. Both guitar amps didn't work properly. The pa was maxed out and the drum kit virtually fell apart. The crash had a big chunk out of it and the toms wouldn't stay in position. The high hat stand didn't work properly and the snare and stand were cheap rubbish.. The room size was just ok and it did have air con. £13 per hour not bad i surpose. Not recommended unless your drummer doesn't have a kit and guitarists don't have an amp. Not suitable for established bands who play decent kit.

Good equipment, great prices, love the free referal credit you can earn for free sessions. I visit here a lot, great place to go to practice, get lost in the music and forget what's going on in the world. However, since writing that I've had a few bad experiences where I've had my session cut off and lost money for my booking, as was accused of hosting a party when the 4 of us rehearsing clearly weren't. We merely got into conversation outside, while having a cigarette, with a huge bunch of people who actually were hosting a party. Not once did we enter their room or have them in ours so we're clearly nothing to do with them. Totally unfair

Very handy place for practices, although the equipment can be hit and miss unfortunately. On most practices, something is broken on the drum kit, which means contacting Pirate chat to get spares, or swap equipment with another room.

This location also had a very popularly used locker room, which was very handy and reasonably priced compared to storage unit companies. Unfortunately, Pirate decided to close their locker service in 2020, to utilise the space for more rehearsal room.

Over a year later and the room hasn't been changed into anything else and presumably still contains all of the, now empty, lockers. It's a shame that such a well used service, which would have generated some revenue, was stopped and nothing has replaced the space!
