Crown Lane Studio

Very helpful and capable staff. My band recorded and produced an EP in one day and were very happy with the result. The prices were competitive and the facilities adequate.

I haven't had the pleasure of recording at Crown Lane yet but intend to very soon. The rehearsal facilities, however, are fabulous! As a drummer it is a real pleasure to get into rooms that sound so good and with such great kits. Our guitarists and bassist similarly rave about the gear.
The studio is always clean and tidy and the Crown Lane people are simply the nicest folk that I've come across in the 25 years of my studio experience.

The Top studio for me, great gear, clean, with the best access in town (including a ceiling hoist in the bathroom)! However its the people that make this studio what it is, welcoming, friendly, kind, knowledgable and completely supportive of what you want to achieve with your time. Once you try it there, you will never look back and Metranome Cafe just extends the joy andhappiness you will have in the studio either, recording or rehearsing. I don't tend to do review things but this one is totally derved and I felt compelled to support this small local business that has a massive impact and a significance to the music industry bein more accessable, diverse and Inclusive. Thank you Crown Lane Studios, I'll be back again and again!

I've been to a lot of ropey studios, but Crown Lane is lovely. Everything is clean and tidy, the kit all seems in good repair, no holes in the roof and that sort of rubbish. It was a real pleasure to play there.

The best studio for miles and great amps and parking easy after 6pm or outside studio before .

I was apprehensive about recording for the first time since the pandemic but John made me feel very comfortable at Crown Lane Studio and the track was finished quickly to a high quality. I especially recommend Crown Lane to fellow harpists. There is a dedicated parking space, a ramp, and John knows how to record a concert harp properly. Thanks team Crown Lane! Oh and the cafe out front serves great coffee and vegan food, it's a lovely place to take a break between recording sessions.

Yesterday was my first time rehearsing at Crown Lane Studio. There was a good PA and equipment, the room was well sound-treated. The staff were really helpful, even helping me park my car. Clean, well-organised. Seems like a really good studio.

We had great experience recording at the Crown Lane Studio. John is super friendly, very helpful & accommodating. They have three separate studios for actors to work in isolation. Clean & sterile space, with great cafe at the front. We would definitely return. Akram Khan Company
