Born in a Barn Recording Studio

We had a great party at BBS with my daughter and her friends. It's a great fun and well organized party for kids who's want to do something different and more adulty! Thanks Roger make it unforgettable my daughter 9 years old birthday.

Don't generally leave reviews, but had such a great time recording here with Roger that I felt compelled to give 5 stars. Booked a one-day session with my Mom as a gift and it exceeded all expectations. Roger gave us a great introduction to recording, worked enthusiastically all day to get the best out of our time together, and did it all with good humour. Highly recommended.

Just had my 3rd yearly session with Roger at his BIB studio. He has been sorting out the audios for our upcoming charity show and as usual, he did this efficiently and with great skill! He is always relaxed and great fun. Although I often go along with some bonkers ideas, he understands what I want and works hard to sort things out for me. We rehearsed last night with his tracks and they are just perfect.
If you book with him, you will have a great time and come away with skilfully put together audios.
Take some milk for your cuppa though! He always forgets milk!

Great place for kids parties, they get to cut a disc of their own and plenty of digital pics taken, loads of space and pay food. On the down side, a little off the beaten track.

Me and my band had the great pleasure of recording our first album at Born in a Barn Studio with Roger Greasby as the sound engineer. In all truth, it was a fantastic experience and Roger did a superb job. Our album sounds, clean, crisp and has a very strong bass sound. His equipment is high quality and it’s a really fantastic and quirky studio to hang out in. Roger is a top guy with a great sense of humour and he really cared about the project, getting stuck in and giving his opinion. He’s not just a guy to sit there and press the record button. I can’t recommend this place strongly enough and is well, well worth the rates he charges, great value for money. Looking forward to the next one :)

Fantastic recording studio, have used it twice now to record my band and make 2 EP’s. Both times were a very relaxing experience, the studio is well equipped with a chill out zone , good size live room, kitchen, even a BBQ out the back overlooking the countryside! Roger our engineer on the day was brilliant, knew how to get the best sound for our style (rock/pop) and was a dab hand at correcting our mistakes etc thanks to his knowledge and computer skills! Highly recommended and we will definitely use again in the future.

I have recorded several songs in various sessions at the studio and the end product has always been fantastic. It’s a great place and I am so happy with the recordings. First rate!

A fantastic place. Roger is really helpful and takes time to understand how your band want to sound. Once he 'gets' what you want to do, he is really supportive and will offer useful advice. We keep going back because we're always pleased with the results.
