Our wedding in the Tudor Room was perfect. Apart from the glorious surroundings, Jackie, the Registrar provided a ceremony which was sensitive, emotional and very personal. Thank you so much Somerset Registration Services for a day we will never forget, for all the right reasons. You should be proud of your wonderful Officers, Jackie, Fiona and Karen.

Amber and the team will take their time to ensure your service is taken care of brilliantly while being friendly, and professional. If your are getting married at the Registry Office in Taunton, or at a venue within Somerset you will be taken care of. Great work guys!

We were married at Tone Dale House on 26/8/20. Our service was conducted by Rosie and Jackie. They made us feel very relaxed in the pre wedding interview. The service was really lovely. All our guests commented on how personal, warm and friendly it was. I know it was our wedding so perhaps a little biased but we have never attended such a nice civil ceremony, particularly bearing in mind as well the current restrictions in place. Thank you both. Beautiful building, some staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately one registrar was extremely rude and unprofessional. She switched off the music 3.5mins into a 5 min track for a dance they were already aware would be 5 mins long. Really upsetting for the guests to witness and the couple getting married, especially for the bride who was the one performing! There was 15 mins spare after the ceremony so we weren’t exactly rushed for time either. I would not recommend this place to friends or family.

I was greeted outside at arrival and a wonderful gentlemen helped us keep calm and know what to expect.
Our Register Minister was perfect too!
Staff were joyous for and with us.
My entrance song was lengthy but for me the entrance time was very important and this was really respected.

We were married at our venue by Karen and Lindsey a few weeks ago. They made us feel very relaxed and were extremely professional but also personal for our ceremony. Thank you to both of them for being part of our day!

Went to register my sons birth and to be met with covid covid covid...
Dont get me wrong and i understand about protecting people but this place has gone over the top.
They tell you the lift is out of order and the toilets but they are not its due to covid just be honest....
Made us leave the baby pram down stars and we had to carry my boy up two flight of stairs.
Then we got to our room and knocked to be met with the rudest person ever at this point we was told the interviews were all over the phone .
Just gone mad.....

My partner has tried all day yesterday to register his mother’s death, only to be greeted by pre recorded message and no way of leaving a message for them to call back absolutely appalling service, this is also delaying him from burying his mum. You should be ashamed.
