Was really impressed with the knowledge and service from the people at this shop. Had battery issues, and a charging fault on an iPhone 6s. They were able to rectify both problems while I waited. New battery fitted and charger port.

Would advise to avoid ifixed Harpenden at all costs and take your custom elsewhere.
We placed an order for a Moto E4plus screen replacement. Despite being told it would be 2-3days to order, we are now five weeks on, and after numerous broken promises and dire customer service, and the promise of our £65 paid up front being refunded - nothing.
Will be following up with Trading Standards at the earliest possible opportunity. Having now read a number of the reviews here, it seems we are not the only dissatisfied customers.

Took my Galaxy S8 in for a simple screen repair. Was told to come back for it later in the afternoon but store was closed when I returned. In the end it took 4 days which is way to long for something so simple.

Not only that but I can't even listen to music anymore because the jack is full of what seems to be dried up hot sauce from what I can only assume was a cheeky Turkish. Very unprofessional to be eating whilst carrying out this sort of work.

I went in with a simple broken screen and was told to come back in the next day... 6 DAYS IN A ROW.. i was so annoyed being messed about it (if its going to take 6 days just say rather than wasting my time making me come in every single day) on the 7th day I sent my dad in on my behalf... amazingly the phone was fixed that day - not so amazingly whilst fixing the front screen they smashed the back of my phone glass. They did not replace the part of the phone they broke. All over replacing a screen. Worst and most embarrassing customer experience I ever had.

Very disappoited with the dreadful service provided by this company. They failed to repair my phone which was acceptable but then kept it for weeks despite regular phone calls and visits to the shop. They also charged an upfront fee of £65 which they assured me would be refunded if they couldn’t repair my phone. This was not the case! Despite my best efforts and their promises the money has not been refunded. I would not trust this company or pay any money upfront to them.

Great service from Marius at Southdown. Replaced the screen on both an iPhone 5 and an iPad quickly and efficiently at a very good price. I also bought a screen protector for the iPhone 5 which Marius installed while I waited. Good prices on accessories too.

if it was possible to give negative 5 stars i would, do NOT use this shop and avoid at all costs. i took my iphone for what was quite a straight forward repair, not only did they fail to repair the phone, but when i requested the phone back almost 2 months later after repeated calls the owner was very rude and dismissive . i have since had the phone repaired by a reputable repair shop, once reopened the phone had missing components and more internal damage from a botched repair attempt. i wish i had read the reviews of this shop before i used these cowboys. Regrettably i didn't and have had one of the worst consumer experiences of my life.

Used this shop a while back for a simple Samsung screen replacement. I was charged upfront, and told to come back a couple of hours later by which time it would be done. Upon returning later, was told that they couldn't actually do it same day after all, but instead it would have to be kept and done over the weekend instead. Being completely outside the originally promised timeline, and with me not being able to be without my phone for that long, I asked for the phone back and for a refund. I got the phone back, but was told the refund would take a few days - this eventually turned into 4 WEEKS to get my money back, and only after being followed up with numerous calls and emails.
Terrible service, extremely unprofessional. Avoid.
