Heard alot about Frangoz over the years so went up with the kids had a verity of things the place was smaller than I thought food was good quality but only disappointed was that we eat inside and the burgers were coldish. Do recommend this place we had burgers that were ok, stir fry donor was good, fries chicken was ok and the pizza is much recommend stuff crust. Can't forget the pink lemonade.

I visited Frangoz on the 5/11/22 after a few years with my family and had one of the worst dining experiences ever! On arrival we went upstairs to the dining area and found it was empty to which I was very surprised as in the past this place was always busy. Visited the toilet which had a door that you couldn't close properly or lock.
We ordered the loaded box meal x 2, 2 x butterfly chicken steak meals and a chicken parmesan. The meals don't come with drinks so they were ordered separately. Total cost was around £47. On the menu they have all sorts of drinks advertised, I asked for j20 and was told they only have the carbonated drinks.
The chicken steak meals arrived in tin foil containers and plastic cutlery. Chicken was 2 tiny pieces of chicken breast, lukewarm and overcooked and really really dry and had a funny smell to it. Mash wasn't too bad but wasn't hot, seemed like it had been reheated in a microwave. The steamed veg that came with it didn't look very appetising either so I didn't try that.
The loaded box meals wasn't any better either. My daughter took a bite of her chicken burger and noticed it was pink inside. I didn't get a pic of this as there was a member of staff nearby who took it away as soon as I mentioned it and it was replaced with another burger which wasn't much better - pic attached of the replaced burger. The chicken burger was really dry and hardly edible. In the end we left most of our meals and left frangoz still hungry. I ended up getting pizzas on my way home for the kids from a trusted takeaway.
We have all had severe stomach cramps and a bad stomach too. I didn't throw up probably as I hardly ate any of my meal but all other members of my family were sick too.
Like I said earlier, I visited after a few years and the food used to be some of the best around - NOT ANYMORE! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING

NEVER give out the correct change. If it’s £9.99, they’ll take a tenner. If it’s £4.99, expect them to ask for £5 and pocket the fiver. The menu will say £4.99, the receipt will say £4.99 but your pocket will be £5 lighter. I hate this kind of deceit. If you want to charge £5, just charge it. Why the deceit? It’s immoral and wrong on principal.

Fantastic place in Halifax, plenty of options for people. There is seating upstairs for a few people with good all round vibe. Food is all good and cooked fresh.

A fast food place that has arguably some of the best food in Halifax. However, time management in a place that is designed to provide food quickly is essential and unfortunately this place does not have this. If you call to order, don’t be fooled into thinking this will speed up your order as it will not. Definitely takes the shine off this well-known food establishment and now means I will not be returning here.

The food was really nice, well prepared, and very cost effective for the amount of food I ordered. It was very tasty and still warm after I placed the order and drove home about 10 mins away.
Service was polite, efficient and it was very busy for takeaway deliveries and also for collection, and people were still eating in the restaurant part as well.
Overall I would rate this establishment 4.5/5.

A nice place to eat from, but very long waiting times!
The burgers here are much better than they used to be in the past - they're chunky and go down well with chilli sauce. The chips aren't anything special and the wings are really good.
The downside would be the lack of drinks with the meals, lack of grilled burgers and the history of very long waiting times.
They are also terrible at forgetting items you've ordered, even though they have quite a selection of staff on hand.
The food is tasty, but some items on the menu don't warrant their price tag.

Food was nice, but prices have gone up. A Boneless Box is now £6.00 not the advertised £4.69. Which considering you dont get a drink is pretty expensive for a KFC knock off.
