Great little pub with its modern yet country feel. Very warm welcome both before and after using facilities on a local walk. Great coffee and comfy sofas by the log burner. Thank you!

Lovely pub great location just had to wait a long time between starters and main course and the pub wasn’t too busy considering they have 2 chefs we had a table of 7 then when we ordered 4 steaks they only had 2 steaks left at a 7.30 booking would love to go again but needs to be a bit more better they need to update the online menu as well

The Sunday roast was so disappointing. Gutted as my family made a lengthy trip to this pub. A £23 ‘leg of lamb’ was akin to Finders frozen meat slices and the ‘homemade’ gravy was tasteless. The only positive I can find is the very friendly staff.

The starters was really good, the Sunday roast meat was not that nice for the price. Service was very good for the large group of us. The pub was pretty empty and with the "locals" that was in the pub just kept looking at us like we shouldn't have been there.

Stopped here for Sunday lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, attractive bar and dining areas, friendly and quick service. We both had the roast lamb and usual trimmings which was no more than average - the meat tasted bought in rather than roasted on site, which is always disappointing.
