Tacos Locos Sittingbourne

Our first visit was just after the lockdown period at the beginning of July for my birthday - had a lovely experience, amazing food and drink, really polite, helpful staff (restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6pm)

Because of our good experience we visited again recently, but slightly disappointed this time round..

We were called at 9:45pm the evening before we were due to eat here, to be asked to confirm our table of 6 adults. It was infact a table of 2 adults, 2 children and an infant we had booked... To immediately be told they could no longer give us our time slot (we had booked two weeks in advance!) This was during the "eat out to help out" scheme, so we could only assume the owner saw a potential larger bill from a table of 6 adults than our table. However, we were kindly told to rebook with them on any day of our choice and they would still honour the scheme for us.

Hasn't really put us off, would probably visit again.

Food was lovely and the restaurant was very quiet as was mid week but we had a lovely time

This place has been good in the past.

But this time we were served by someone who’s first language wasn’t English. He clearly got our order wrong, gave veg when we asked for beans, rice, cheese and guacamole. When we asked them to change the order the owner refused and wouldn’t take the feedback or any liability. Also the tortilla’s are listed as gluten free and they are not.

They’ve lost our custom for good now and anyone else I would have recommended or brought there.

I do like this place. We have been back quite a few times now and the food has always been very tasty.

The restaurant is decorated well with Mexican inspired bits and bobs dotted around and was nice and clean. The service is also pretty quick and the atmosphere is also good with some Mexican themed music playing in the background.

The only negative for me is I find the drinks are a bit too expensive although there are a good selection on offer with plenty of different cocktails. If the drinks were cheaper I would definitely stay for longer to enjoy the Mexican vibes and would've awarded it 5 stars.

Loved the Chihuahua painting!!

Very much enjoyed our visit here. There were 11 of us girls on a night out and went here for some food on the hope they could accommodate us. We wasn't disappointed, the service was lovely and food was great. Very big portions , the tapas on the menu was also very large 😀

Food was good but service wasn’t great. Felt like we were being forced out the door as waitress was standing holding the door open when we weren’t ready to leave and still drinking our cocktails. This was just before 10pm on a Saturday. Staff were rude, mimicking gun motions to head as we were getting ready to leave

It was our first visit and we absolutely loved it.

Had the most amazing 18th Birthday celebration here, the restaurant were very accommodating and very friendly.
The food was wonderful and the portions were fantastic and service was very fast.
We are going back in March and would recommend 100%
